    Re: Need Mortal kombat 1.0

Hiro, when you posted code for this game you need to change the value for Milleena. It is b5 (not 85) as Amy pointed out.
BTW, I just got my 1.0 in really good condition so more codes WILL be coming

Ok, that has been changed. I guess that I posted your codes in 1.0 too when they should be in 1.1. I'll make sure to change that later today. I will look forward to seeing your new MKT codes as well.

          Re: Need Mortal kombat 1.0

I was SO pissed! I bought MKtrilogy on ebay and it was a red disc in perfect condition but when I played it, it was 1.1 which I already own (on silver disc). I thought all the red ones were 1.0 (like my old one)
I even asked Amy if I could swap with her if I paid for all the shipping but I didn't hear back so I guess she wasn't interested. Oh well, one day I will have one.

            Re: Need Mortal kombat 1.0

Yes, I got your PM, and have not replied, I was meaning to but it slipped my mind for awhile, and also well it would not be a happy thing really.... I am sorry but I guess I shall say it here, (As sad to say and admit but it is clear to see and know any answer other then 'yes' will not be well to your liking) even if you as you said payed for shipping and all, that still puts me out.

#1 The original version is and does seem rather 'rare' I am all about keeping ahold of rare games as they are well considered collector's items even. With a host of 'rare games' from Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout US version which goes for $800.00 plus at any game colelctor convertion, to even Chrono Cross and even Final Fantasy 7 and Tactics non'greatest hits' player's choice which also is a collector's item game these days.

That is the thing, the version and the mere mark, the 'green mark' of 'this game is a reversioned Greatest Hit game, does lower the valure by ALOT. (Another reason I never, never have and never will buy a greatest hits anything.)

Again that is pretty much it, just that reason alone, I am sorry and feel bad you cannot find one, but this game is popping up indeed as a collector's item.

Also, I know that the greatest Hits version disc had two versions, same version of the game 1.1, but two versions of it's looks, one was red as the first run (I know my cousin had it up under theri dresser that was found by us not all too long ago, the thing stayed there for 8 years or so now) I rememebr because remember when they bought it and it was a 'green greatest' hits case but was the red disc, and that the codes would not work correctly for the game. (The version 1.0 codes that worked in my GSPro that I put on their now dead PSX and tried to enjoy their game.) Then a few years after that, I saw the silver discs where Sony got even 'cheaper' in recreating their games for sale, trying to make a quick buck on the 'greatest hits' train again. I recall that time because all those slow or younger started grabbing all the hits that were hits, the Final Fantasy 7's the Final Fasty Tactics and such...all silver discs then and images that did not fit and indeed made the thing look cheap (as it was, greatest hits again after all) Final Fantasy games always on the PSX always had great images on their white discs that went with the booklet and background, like Aerith stand close to the HighWind on FF7...yet my cousin's with the silver discs did not have this and even on the other side had that fire image of Seheroth, nothing image wise was 'fitting'. Again that is sad but as is, Sony did sale the greatest hits for a low low proce frankly again because the price they sold them for was still alot more then it took to throw the game on a disc. (Even the game discs themselfs were flobby, weak, thin, and just not as great as the original games.)

After all that I saw all those silver discs pop up at the game stores for 'resale' of used games.... missing books and cases, and MKT was there alot, the silver ones, but again that is how I know there are in fact three versions, maybe more.

Now also, I know you said that I could change the case cover and all that and that you do not care about cover inserts or booklets or anything, that would make it easier, if not when you test and show a game for being truly rare if the game's SLUS file was not tested, and that also sadly goes all down to something akind of like putting a cover over paint job on a lemon car at a dealership....it may look nice and all perfect on the outside, but ocne played, then everyone knows it is a lemon. (If the games were not played and enjoyed and just stuck on the walls in a museam, it would all be good, but being as all games the SLUs files are always tested to see if the game is truly rare or not, again I am sorry but that is just not worth it for a game that is making it's marks high in the rare game trade.

Again I am sorry, I wish that I could help, some may say I can still, but I just did give my reasons, I do collect rare games. Maybe the best thing is if you just care about the game only itself and not the whole rare game thing, maybe there are bit torrents, where you can download the original version? Or otherwise, again never trust ebay---ebay is great yes, but no one would sale an MKT Original unless the price was 'reserved' rather high. So ebay may not be the ebst shot.... maybe yard sales or such, little kids, and alot of groun up kids, their grandparents, parents and all else do not keep tabs on how costly rare games can and should be so, if lucky that may be the ebst shot. (I've not seen a yard sale for awhile around ehre that ahs had anything good, but that is just my area.) Or otherwise check game stores for same thing, again 'most' game store clerks are idiots even in games and cannot tell a rare game from a bruned CD with a sticker on it.

Not sure what area of the nation you are in and enar again, but as of these days, for 'classic' yet RARE games at cheap prices, I'd go check out a Rhino Video Games. (Just google it and pick your state and such) They are a spin of of BlockBuster Video who is doing alot better in the game business then they did with their video rental and sales and even their once music stores, now all gone defunked. Anyway if one of those are close, I'd check there and ask the clerks (the manager even) to hold one for you if you cannot fidn one there. This game store chain is sadly the only one left for older system games, the GameStop's have all seemingly gone out of the old systems...even on their site in most cases, but Rhino has Master System to even Saturn and DreamCast games still around, and PSX games by a warehouse load---heck that is the only chain I ever seen TG16 games for sale beyone the retail stores some darn 16 years ago.... and I mean today, well a few days ago, last time I went into one. All games I have so not itnerested in, but they do as of these days seem to be a good place, but again sorry I do not have two and such, but I gave my reasons why and otehrwise with hope a Rhino is near you, and otherwise they have that ggame and the version you wise. (Plus they will let you play and test the game right there in their store free of charge---would not stay all night and finish a game, but they do allow that, something even GameStop no longer does because now they have to 'test the emss themselfs'....

              Re: Need Mortal kombat 1.0

no prob. thanx anyway (not like I have tons of time to hack anymore). I understand, I had a Soul Blade 1,0 with all the cool artwork and one of my 2nd wifes cousins broke it and I never found another as it was pretty rare by then. If you ever know anyone who could burn a copy of it I would appreciate it. I live in Baltimore and would pay for any shipping. Pretty cool you having an original ff7. a new one went on ebay for $225. I don't have any really rare ones. I had to open and play my Tobal #2 when BlackGoddess bought it for me brand new.

nah he never claimed that. I simply asked what color the disc was not knowing there are two different discs that are 1.1 (red and silver)

ummm huh???? What are you saying or asking for? I am guessing english is not among your primary languages....because it is kind of hard to understand what you are asking about.

Otherwise, I do hope whatever you are asking for is not too much or anything, I am not 'here' not anylonger to help people all willy-nilly and all freely and mess, I now live in the real world and not being a part of this place alot of my 'help' whatever kind it is and was has ended.

That is just life, nothing I care about or anything, but a small secret that really should not be one, that is 80% really why I will not trade with luigi the game disk, the slus file and about it being rare is yes a small 20% of it, but, when life really gets down to it, we all need to and should live in the real world where 'helping' is not really world it unless those who are asked for help gets paid in some way or type very very 'nicely'.

But you asked, now what is it you are asking, and what is the reason you are asking, why do you need to know whatever it is you are asking, and more so, if I even answer, is it or will it help me in anyway in life?

I believe they are asking about the SLUS number that's on the spine of the MK Trilogy case, mine is 00330 in case that's helpful.

And mine's an original version 1.0 bought on the day the game came out (preordered about a month before release anyway).

                          Re: Need Mortal kombat 1.0

Well, Nocturn was asking, still I am curious as to why, nothing bad oor anything, but I would guess he is not from or lives in an english speaking area (I am not from a english speaking area, but it was enough I was able to pick it up well)

But as is, yes the slus is the same as your's, 00330. I also preordered mine as well, which is why I know it is 'quote' orginal and the rare one. The game came out 'near' the Christmas season which is HELL for finding any thing rare, heck I remember that day, driving to one store to get the guild and then to the store I ordered it from to grab the game. (This has been awhile and games and guilds even at 'GameStop' the then FuncoLand' was not exactly hand and hand on guilds for their games. I went to a Wal-Mart for the Guild, knewing they were getting a truck lod of them (well not that many) that day thanks to knowing a few who worked there, they get the guild but NOT the game---odd but Wal-Mart is that way so much, pretty fucked most times, then went to the game store, Funcoland where I had my pre-order and grabbed the game.

This has been a good while, so all really not sure what date it was, I do remember it good however, just not the day, it was full as normaly, it was late November, and Funcoland had called me that morning, I went by and got my pay check from work, went to one 'city' of that Wal-Mart and grabbed the guild, then went to the whole other city and got the game. (Back then heck Wal-Marts and Game Stores were not on every block of every city like they are today) Then I went about other Christmas shopping.

Again not sure what 'date' this was, I know it was in November in anycase and got the originall, because after that day, seems the game on shelfs was just gone, I am not even sure they had any to set on shelfs then, again it was the Christmas shopping season.

Otherwise, I know some types of people hate shopping, I rather enjoy it, err a girl thing as always, I guess, and even though each season, or otherwise each time I make sure I NEVER miss any game I am after, I still do go out each Christmas season for the gathering shopping crowds, with most of the stuff I am lookig for already at home, I do find the game stores and such as I am saying rather 'empty' like with this game, had it on preorder which I do 'any and all games' that are good---yeah sometimes I buy 'used' stuff from like the NES days when I was young to buy everything on my own, but I am not bragging, but when the SNES days came and I hit 16 in 1991 and was able to work, I then ever sense then always preordered 'anything good'.

Heck some game stores there was only ONE then here (Babbages) but all the others, Toys R Us and such did not do preorders so it was always Babbages for a while there thil they branched out aagain and there is a game stor on every block in my area, whole state now. Not bragging really----maybe I should, as sorry for some, but alot even here have missed some great games they claim is the earth and water to them, and again, just me, but I cannot even imagine missing a game if it is that great.

Not fussing or such, I can see why the MKT was missed by Luigi...I mean goodness it was again Christmas season, and if you had no preorder, you either dealt with the version 2's (which came out pretty recent after the original) or had to deal with that 'sucky' piece of crap N64 version---which a system HELL everyone hates, and we all know it is true. (So much so, hey that is the only game or system I will admit even I wasted money on==== no reason to have that system at all, other then F-Zero X...and even the gameCube one is way better then that and so is the SNES and GBA one.... now yeah some will claim the Zelda's are good, and yeah they are, but again for me, a woman who never misses a game, hey hey it is ON GameCube. (two versions even all non-found now even another two rare games there.) Some say that Perfect Dark is good, ehhh I have it, and that 007 game mess, but still first person shooters, SUCK ASS, again as I said, anyone wnat this waste of plastic, you can HAVE it, just come pick it up. Heck you can have all the waste of money rare games I got for the piece of crap too, trying always to find a reason this is good, yet again never found it other then F-Zero and Zelda (which again is way better on their other system) ehh well it is life. heh

Well, yes those are some pretty decent codes, nothing end all end all however, and 'some' of them have been made for the PSX version anyway in most cases, still nice codes but again just nothing exactly earth shattering there.

The main issue is goodness, heh I forgot about all the cool differances in the game versions....and N64 did have some cool differances, bosses can do their fatalities, and that one Scorion Fatality that is only in N64, other mess such as the female 'Kameleon' vs the male Chameleon...not sure I got the names right, but I know they both were different sexes as well as different letters that started their names.

But also N64 was missing alot....all charatcers, let me count, I am not fully sure, no need to waste time putting the game in to see, but I know Sub-Zero was missing (the unmasked one) on N64 and also, human Smoke was also missing,a nd again as said, for 'memory' the Kameleon was the female ninjas (three of them) not the males 7 there and a whole lot more cooler moves.

I also think N64 is and was missing the 'new moves' for each charatcer as well, Raiden's 'reverse lightning toss' where he turned around and threw it backwards and it came out the other side of the screen...that was FUNNY. Plus N64 was and is also missing the 'older' different version charatcers. (Old MK1 Raiden, old MK2 Kung Lao, old MK2 Jax, and old MK1 Kano)

So yes was alot of differances, and yes N64 had some cool stuff, Scorpions other fatality and boss fatalities, but code wise, I'd still say PSX wins, again not even with a GS code, all that one button fatality stuff and time and most all else was always accessible via that question mark box of secrets.
