Newbie Requesting help an odd hack - Breath of fire for SNES

Hey all!

I have an odd request. I am looking to find/create a code that will bring back/reset the pigs that appear in the city of Romero, before the story dictates that zombies go nuts and eat them. My wife is playing this for the first time, and literally cried when she learned the pigs died. She's well past this point now - Gobi is going solo to get her the gills - and I can't remember any reason to ever go back to Romero again story wise. I am thinking/hoping to find a way to change the event flag to put the pigs back in their pen, essentially bringing them back to life. I haven't found a way to do so yet though and could use some help.

I know this is an odd request, but it would really mean a lot to me if I could surprise my wife with this. If you know how to do this, or know a different site where to ask, or know a friend who could make this happen, I would greatly appreciate any and all help in making this happen. uh sounds pretty interstin request:3, you have two option for this, trough cheatin nor mod, if youre lookin for mod, im sugestin you visit this page--->www.gbatemp.net , theres plenty awesome nintendo hacker overthere, if you wanna lookin for cheat code(i love to swap, modify, anythin related to character), then tell anydood what device youre playin for, if youre usin emulator, then please provided bit save state which contain tha piggy sprites, it would sortly tha problem quicky:3, anyho i dunt have superb experience on 2d games, but ill tried mi best to bring tha piggy everywhere:P(dunt hopely to much, coused im tha n00b:P)

zombies eat pigs... pigs die become zombie pigs makes sense neat request if i knew exactly where and when that happened (and had a save state) i woud help. but i'm busy hacking ps1 stuff and still too little time for myself

I don't have a save state at the moment, but I can quickly get one. Just one question... how would I provide the save state to you? Any trick to it I should know to make this easier?

mostly emu have savestate build in tough:P, its dependin what typo of emu youre used(unleash youre usin real hardware, then i dunno any idea lol), heres some example from zsnes emulator--->

just click tha savee button aynwhere you desire, and it will provided savestate file(somehwut called .sav), if you got that then just upload it, so anydood can helpin you to get those piggy squad live:3

Ok, I am going to have to ask something stupid, but how do i upload this? This site keeps giving me an error as it doesn't support the file type, and my computer refuses to change the file type as i don't have access or something. I must be missing something obvious, but what?

zip it before attach overhere. Or upload it somewhere, like rapidgator/putlocker

Get winrar to archive the file in a zip file or rar file then upload it here.

Well, I have tried as many ways as I can think of to zip the file here, but I can't get it to work. My computer has some odd 'protection' on it that prevents me zipping the file, so it keeps returning an error. She went and beat the game now, so I'm going to have to call this project off. I am VERY grateful for all the help people gave here for such a bizarre request, and wish I could have done my part to make this work.

In the end, I ended up showing her the old save state with the pigs alive, which did cheer up as expected. Now I get to show her Breath of fire 2... which the first mission has us saving a pig... oy.

Don't have her play Illusion of Gaia,there is a pig in there pretty much the whole game and well it doesn't end well.
