Quick question: I'm not sure if this is a translation error in CEP that allows me to follow one conditional code entry with another (D0, E0 look at the first code for an example) is this possible on a normal gameshark?

I tried using the same code on the PSP and it didn't work.

        I'm assuming reason does work
because your code is being progress something like this

unfortunately official ps1 (gameshark) cheat device does not support multi line conditional.
however Caetla cheat device has limited multi line conditional support.

Go into practice mode and select Jin as P1. Launch P2 into midair and perforn Jin's 'Tsunami Kick' (dwn/fwd+O,O). P2 should bounce back into the air upon hitting the ground.

          @Lee4
CEP can simulate Caetla, but I keep it in Gameshark/PAR mode as the codes don't seem to work when it's in Caetla mode.

Interesting. Is there a guide to Caetla anywhere on here?

If you want, you can use Caetla codes via Dr. Hell's Action Replay GPU Wrapper 1.05 plugin:
                Code:
                http://drhell.web.fc2.com/labo/
He is also the creator of CEP. So the contents of this readme might apply to the CEP command usage (I've only used PAR commands).

                README:
                Cheat codes supported
                ---------------------

"Standard" engine supports part of "caetla" codes as follows.
                +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
3aaaaaaa 00dd : Write simply ( 8 Bit)
8aaaaaaa dddd : Write simply (16 Bit)
9aaaaaaa dddddddd : Write simply (32 Bit)
Blllaaaa dddddddd : Repeat(with 3, 8 and 9 code)
Caaaaaaa 00dd : Ignore one following code if not equal ( 8 Bit)
Daaaaaaa dddd : Ignore one following code if not equal (16 Bit)
Eaaaaaaa ddddllll : Ignore several following codes if not equal (16 Bit)
                +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+

"PAR compatible" engine supports following codes.
                +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
30aaaaaa 00dd : Write simply ( 8 Bit)
80aaaaaa dddd : Write simply (16 Bit)
10aaaaaa dddd : Increase (16 Bit)
11aaaaaa dddd : Decrease (16 Bit)
20aaaaaa 00dd : Increase ( 8 Bit)
21aaaaaa 00dd : Decrease ( 8 Bit)
5000llaa dddd : Repeat(with 30 and 80 code)

E0aaaaaa 00dd : Ignore until next single-code if not equal ( 8 Bit)
E1aaaaaa 00dd : Ignore until next single-code if equal ( 8 Bit)
E2aaaaaa 00dd : Ignore until next single-code if not less ( 8 Bit)
