  • Can't Find PSP GBA with Working Cheat Engine

All the GBA emulators I've tried have broken or faulty cheat engines which only allow a couple of codes to work, at best. The list of codes I've gotten to work is VERY short, sadly.

    They include the following:

Easily Catch Wild Pokemon on both Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Emerald

Infinite Cash (glitchy) on both Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Emerald

Infinite Master Balls (glitchy) on Pokemon Fire Red and perfect on Pokemon Ruby

I managed to hack an infinite-cash code on Pokemon Ruby, as the one which is supplied on this site does not work with any GPSP version (kai or otherwise).

What is up with the appalling proliferation of GBA emulators with broken cheat engines for PSP?!

There is a very simple way to actually make the cheats work, and that is by totally overhauling the cheat engine so that you simply have to decrypt the gameshark/action replay codes before entering them into the .cht file for each ROM. The cheat engine, as it is, tries to do something very difficult, and that is to simultaneously decrypt the cheat codes in the .cht file, then apply them to the game. It doesn't do a very good job of decrypting, it seems, as some codes don't work at all, while others do far worse: freeze the game or render it unplayable by horribly glitching up the graphics or even the game's programming code itself.

Could someone please find a list of codes which DO work with GPSP Kai?
    Tempus fugit, ergo, carpe diem.

Time flies, therefore, seize the day.
