Akumajou Special - Boku Dracula-kun (Japan) [T-En by Vice Translations v1.04]

Get the v1.04 patch here: http://www.foxhack.net/files/patches/bdkv104.zip

All of the Game Genie codes in the database work on v1.04 of the translated rom, and all of the RAM codes will most definitely work:

    http://gamehacking.org/?game=28927

In most cases, Game Genie codes for the vanilla rom will work on the translated rom.

In some (fewer) cases, Game Genie codes for the vanilla rom will work on rom hacks, depending on what has been hacked. If it is simply a bug fix hack, they will probably work. If it is a hack that heavily alters the game, like new levels or characters, than they probably won't work.

Almost always, RAM codes for the vanilla rom will work on translated and hacked versions.

Thanks terpsfan101 for the info and the link to the newer patch.

I'm using a NES Game Genie patch program so I can have the codes on permanently for the game. I forgot to edit my post last night to say Infinite lives (and health) work perfect, it's the Invincibility that won't work after I patch the game.

Invincibility does work perfect in FCE Ultra though weird.

My guess is that you can't patch most 6 digit Game Genie codes to a ROM file because 6 digit codes often modify more than 1 address. When I type the Invincibility code (AVASEI) into the Game Genie Encoder/Decoder in FCEUX, it lists about 15 possible affected rom file Addresses.

Shit, that's a lot of addresses lol.

I guess I will just have to settle with Infinite Health & Lives, although it's a real pain in the butt getting knocked back while jumping

If the game has > 1 page, let alone 15 pages, I wouldn't ever use 6 digit GG codes on it. Too many bugs can ensue. Use a debugger and find out which page needs the byte, and turn that 6 digit code into 8. Then you can patch it without screwing up the rest of the game.

You can use the ghtool in the research and development thread to help out. It will patch the rom for you, as well as let you peek at the asm without using an emulator.
