    snes gg codes

That debug level is interesting. It's kinda like the programmers room in castlevania SOTN. It has been added to the site.

      snes gg codes

Here's some snes codes I was able to find. Out of all the beat em up games I've played, King of Dragons still has some of the best bosses to fight.

      King of Dragons
      DBF7-876D start with 9 credits

7E1454** item mod for most chests and pots. Use 00-24

      Batman Returns
C963-C40F level select. There's a hidden in game level select, but the text for that screen doesn't show up. Start the game and continue till it shows the cutscene right before stage 1. At the cutscene, press start once to go to a black screen. The black screen is where the level select is. Keep pressing up to increase the level number for a maximum of 6 times. After you pick what level you want to go to, press right once to start about halfway thru the level, and twice to start near the end of the level. Turn code off after the level load up.

          Re: snes gg codes

Here's some more codes that I had time to find. I was hoping to enable the level select that was taken out of the American version of TMNT4: Turtles in Time, but didn't have any luck.

          TMNT:Turtles in Time (USA)
          7E1BD00A-enables 10 lives cheat code

          TMNT:Turtles in Time(Japanese)
          7E1F9001-enables stage select cheat
          7E1FFA01-enables 10 lives cheat

          Ninja Gaiden Trilogy:

          Ninja Gaiden 1
**C9-4794 stage select. Use DF-F9. The only side effect is that it
69C1-4DF4 gives you a red background where your status bar is

**C9-4DB4 Cutscene mod before the start of stage 1. Use DF-D8
          62C9-4D24

          Ninja Gaiden 3
176C-CDE7 start with 99 weapon points, ignore the counter

          **6B-CF87 stage select. Use DF-4E
          FD6B-CFE7

          Here's a few NES codes

          Mighty Final Fight
          EAXKNYAA-invincible
IEVEPTAA-defeat enemies and bosses in one hit

          TMNT 2
OEVKNZAA-enables stage select and 10 lives cheat
AAUPPKPA-player 1 and 2 can choose the same turtle

          TMNT 3
AESZYPVY-player 1 and 2 can choose the same turtle by pushing left on the d-pad when selecting a turtle
          OXOXYXPX-enables auto mode
AASEZEPA-push start or select to view all the demos(you'll have to turn the code off to play the game)
SLOGGKSO-most one hit enemies auto die
          PAKXTAAA-enables stage select

          OZVXSKPX stage select. Use PA-TE
          *AVXVKY*

*AVAPZAA-debug code. Start game and keep pushing start till you get to the start of level 1. (see note)

P-enables you to see all the sprites used in the game. At the start of level 1, push up on the control pad and a set of numbers appear at the bottom left of the screen. Push up to change the page of sprites. The B button resets that number to 0. The A button changes how the sprites are on that page

Z-at the start of level 1, push up on the control pad and a set of numbers appear at the bottom left of screen. I can't seem to get these to do anything

L-enables you to scroll thru the entire level by using the control pad

          Note
I also had no luck trying to make this code work better. The last 2 codes takes a few more seconds for the title screen to appear. If anybody would care to give it a try, I would greatly appreciate it.

Speaking of debugs, thanks once again Ugetab for finding the Final Fight 3 debug code. I'm still having fun playing that game with that code

              Re: snes gg codes

I haven't even heard of a level select code in turtles 4 before. An interesting find. I guess it makes sense since the last 2 NES turtle games had them. These have been added to the site.

Phil The Hammer-No problem. I'll probably have more by this week

iamstillhiro1112-There are a few games that I know of that had cheats removed. A couple of them are:
Contra 3(E)- There was a stage select and a 30 lives cheat that was removed in the (U) version.
Castlevania Bloodlines(J)-had a stage select removed from the (U) version as well

ugetab-Great Job!! Just when I thought I was getting the hang of finding codes, along comes this game to make me feel humbled(again)

                    Re: snes gg codes

Comparing Super Probotector:Alien Rebels( Contra 3(E) ) and Contra 3(U), to see if I was able to enable the cheats and I made a little headway. The cheats for Super Protector are:

Sound Test- at title screen rapidly press X button while pressing Down to Right

All Weapons- at player selection press right, down, right/down, right and start. Listen for scream

Level select- at player selection press left, down, left/down, left and start. Listen for hum

                    Super Probotector
7E1C0001-enables the sound test. Have code on before Konami logo screen appears. At the title screen disable the code and you'll be taken to the sound test screen
7E1C0601-enables 30 lives cheat. Works for Contra 3 also

                    Contra 3
                    7E1C04**-enables
                    03-30 lives
                    04-99 lives

I tried enabling the cheats on Contra 3 with no luck. I compared the 2 roms to see if I at least could get the sound test to work and found:

                    address 2CA5: 8D B8 00 22 88 Super Probotector
                    address 2B20: 27 B9 00 22 B0 Contra 3

For Contra 3, changing the B9 to B8 and B0 to 88 and using 7E1C0001 switches to the screen where the sound test is suppose to be, but it's just a black screen.

Here are some codes that I had written down, but I'm not sure who created them

                            Dragon Quest 3(J)
EEEE-E765 enables debug menu. Start game and press the L
EEEE-E7A5 button to bring up a menu. Push left or right to
                            6DEE-E4B8 change the menu page.

Would it be possible to port this game genie code to the NES Dragon Warrior 3 game?

                            Dragon Quest 5(J)
DD6D-DDD0 enables debug menu. Start game and push the A
DD6D-DD00 button to bring up the menu, then go to the 5th option

                            Dragon Quest 6(J)
EEEE-E765 enables debug menu. Start game and go to the
EEEE-E7A5 world map. Press the L button and go to the 9th
                            6DEE-E4B8 option

                              Re: snes gg codes

Those are pretty nice finds. I haven't seen them on the internet anywhere before. Hopefully the nes kept them intact. I'm not sure how much the snes and nes versions have in common. I know porting back and forth between some snes ports is pretty easy. I seen alot of supermario allstars codes were ported from the nes games. That is where that Bouncing shell code for super mario 2 came from. Someone made that code on nes. And I gave it to ugetab and he was able to find it in the snes version.

I was lucky to write them down when I did because they were deleted from a post less than a day later. For Dragon Quest 3(J), debug menu, you can do everything from change day to nite, random encounter any enemy, warp to different towns, start with gold, etc. The list is extensive. As for porting the code to the NES Dragon Warrior 3, the rom address appears to match up, but I can't get anything to happen
