  • Retro Requests NES/SNES/Genesis

Okay...well being I am well rather bored (well bored til a few codes and cheats for certain games become avalible) I'd thought well what the heck, make a few requests in a small attempt to draw more 'life' back into the place.

yes yes, I know, 'asking' for codes is not as good at drawing life in as is posting codes...but ehh not being a hacker, well I try darn it.

Anyway retro requests abit here and maybe more as I think of them, and I am sorta aware that really, game genie hacking for NES and Genesis does not really go on, but, there is always hope new programs or old programs that have been found can help in those code-less games and such. (gahhh at the soooo many code-less NES and Genesis games as pertained to GameGenie) Anyway the list:

    Genesis:
    El Ventio:
Infinite 'life' and max infinite 'magic' I know there are those 'buttong codes' but getting killed alot is not fun, really a need for life really.

    Earnest Evans:
Also, infinite life would be a nice blessing really.

    Altered Beast:
There is those 'debug menu' but it is hard to remember and put in, maybe a code to enable the menu? and maybe also as always again infinit 'life' would be nice.

    Ghouls'N Ghosts:
Also the 'enable' debug' 'invicible mode' code would be nice on this game, gahhh at my sore hands from trying trying trying to type in these OLD game pad codes...

    NES:
    Dragon Spirit:
again Infinte 'life' Enable either 'gold' or 'blue' dragon mode. (Enable 'whatever' makes the girls images at the end of each stage come in 'color' in this game, it seems to depend on how 'good' you do weather the end of that stage 'princess' comes in when talking, a code if possible to always 'come in color' would be nice.

    SNES:

Only one for right now as I am looking through my games on the shelf from what I can see.

Brawl Brothers, again infinite life and maybe infinite 'anger mode'???

Ahh another one, sorry I just am hitting em when I see em, but the 'RPG game Lagoon... anyway sense Lagoon is an RPG game...not going to say 'what codes' really, as it is a 'RPG' but being an RPG like any RPG...this game just should have ALOT of codes, in which it does not...starting at level 18 is all good and mess, but blahhh I'd like more so start at level '99' and have infinite life, gold, have all crystals, and wands and magic...you know all the type of RPG codes... err well, I guess I sorta did state which codes I wished for...

Also note, I said I was bored, which is pretty pointless, blahhh I mean me being bored when there is sooooooo much mess to do, computer downloads, doing this and that blahhh I guess bored is not the right world, I guess I am getting abit lazy is all...but ehh maybe if I went out and got a new game, or had codes for the games here or elsewhere I have been jabbering about codes for.

hmmm me getting lazy... err I wonder if Lazy has something that you can catch through internet connections??? heh Just kidding...err I think, unless I get more enfected...

    Retro Requests NES/SNES/Genesis

I think the Brawl brothers codes were done, and posted at gscentral recently.

I don't know whether these got done or not. Here they are in case they weren't. They are action replay codes and can be used with Emulators. If someone wants to convert them to game genie codes they can.

    Ghouls n Ghosts (Version 1)

    Enable Invincibility
    FFFF80:00
    FFFF81:00
    FFFF82:00

    El Viento
    Infinite Energy
    FFAB3B:27
    Infinite Max Energy
    FFAB3B:96
    Max Energy
    FFAB3F:60
    Infinite Magic
    FFAC91:10
    Infinite Max magic
    FFAC91:96
    Max Magic
    FFAC95:96

    Earnest Evans
    Infinite Energy
    FFA4B1:40
    Max Life Boxes
    FFA4AF:04

I'm not sure what you mean by debug code for altered beast. You'll have to clue me in on what you mean.

ummm yes that is kinda the thing though, I need Game Genie codes, not AR.... I do not know how to convert them.

As for the debug menu in Altered Beast, there is a little buttong menu you can get to on that game that allows you to fill your life, select levels and even decide and 'alter' what 'beast' you cna and shall transform into. Such as the Wolf goes for the first and last levels, yet you can choose which you wish, like the Tiger, or Bear, Or Dragon, or any of them for whatever level really, even have Tiger on any and all levels. That menu has not been talked about in a long time being well the game is rathe rold... but I know it is there, I do remember it and doing it, cannot remember how exactly, I may have to look it up again.

I guess some of these games have the game genie codes already existing at gscentral. I might take a shot at converting the ones that arent' but I heard odd numbered codes, and codes with four F's can't be converted. So I'm not sure what can be done about that.

So basicaly as I thought this request and thoughts and really any of the replies so far mean nothing. Not meaning to sound harsh, but this request is rather old, and suddenly I am presented with ideas and codes that do not work and now all of a sudden it all changes to a mere 'whoops'.

Nah, I know where your coming from. I remember the days when I had to rely on the consoles for my gaming and stuff. With the emulation and stuff I don't have so much the need for game genie codes. So I never really learned how to convert things. Anyhow, good luck on your search for these codes.

                  :shock:Whoah!!!! Neat, Thank You Helder.

Igosh this been here awhile happy to see some of it is still doible, specialy being well gosh, one of those strange things like Brawl Brothers, yes not a 'popular' SNES game, but Galoob and Game Genie sure left that game out of their hacking lists. Anywya Thank You glad and happy to see the game get codes as always, I like to thank Hiro as well, I mean yes those tye of codes would not work, being they were on emus, btu anyway he did try.... such a push these days I see from some over at GSC at least to get codes for games with 'none' such as this game and few others are.

it was no problem, but a side note u have to have the angry mode activated in options for it to work and i made an infinite health code as well as fill you health up instead of losing it but it affects the enemies too thats why i didnt psot it,but with the angry mode code your basically invincible so... amy ill do the other games soon too.

                      Retro Requests NES/SNES/Genesis

Neat, Again as always Thank You Helder, and not to worry about the 'health' code for Brawl Brothers, as you said, if it makes enemies also with infinite life, that is not something to get through the game with. :P

As is I recall my little sisters were once awhile back playing Kingdom Hearts on the PS2 ofcorse with those infinite health codes on my CB, and they had em all turned on and was fighting Shepiroth... and well, we know those health code, if Goofy and Donald are not there, they effect your enemies, so they spent gahhh a full 45 mins trying to beat the crap out of Seph, I walked into their room and was all like well... I see that is getting you no where. :P Not making fun of my own sisters they are young, just saying well with examples I have seen, infinite life for your foes is not good. :P

So with angry mode as you hacked and made that is good as when in this game and 'angry' you are basicaly invicible anyway. heh as long as you do not walk off a building or somehting like that. :P

Anyway, I also shall update that list that all started this here, as is, it is a year old now even, within this month anyway, I posted this thread: 29 Mar 2004 so same month and 'almost' a year old with a few more days will be. :P But should and shall even need to 'update' it here as GSCentrual ahs done some of these codes awhile back even. So the new list is now as follows.

                      Genesis:

                      Altered Beast:
There is those 'debug menu' but it is hard to remember and put in, maybe a code to enable the menu? and maybe also as always again infinit 'life' would be nice.

                      Ghouls'N Ghosts:
Also the 'enable' debug' 'invicible mode' code would be nice on this game, gahhh at my sore hands from trying trying trying to type in these OLD game pad codes...

Okay not sure you do Genesis Helder, but in anycase otherwise, again just updating the list, as GSC does now have El Vinto and Ernest Evans codes, but the games above, well as said. :P

Also not sure if you do the NES also, but again here is a game not even touched by GameGenie it seems, well, has a few codes, I must admit, but well, there 'is' an infinite health code, but it only works for the 'blue' dragon, (or gold one? the one where you do not get the best story) and otherwise, seems the 'princesses' at the end of each stage will not appear in color with such a code, so yes there is a code, but wondering if it is able to be 'tweaked' upon, but again not sure if you do NES GG type codes. Anyway that infinite health code is:

                      OZVZOZVG

                      SNES:

Well, only one there really was that Brawl Brothers game, and you did the infinite 'anger' and the health would work for all, but otherwise, if you would not mind, maybe a code for infinite lives? As is heh the anger yes makes you ultimate invicible til you walk off a side of a building or such, which does sorta happen in anger mode alot. ( I mean well hehe rather funny, but always costs a life when you slam some of your foes around with those body slams and mess and your character picks them up jumps a million miles in the air, slams their foe down hard and it hits all other foes all around, yet the jumping slam make your character lose footing off the side of the building and off they go. :P

Sweet. Thank You As Always Helder. These are indeed nice ones. Also, yes this game is great, I still love it, well always loved it, but sorta love it and 'ALOT' of games so much, gosh a shame there is not so much into the 'remakes' these days.) Well there is much into remakes, but I mean well, I have a list, I guess you could say.

On the Dragon Spirit, as for code wishes requests and that you said more to come. I would think maybe a code that causes the hit detection 'not' to take away your dragon 'heads' and fire power really? Just wondering, as that would be a nice one, again only if possible, please.
