  • Krusty's Super Fun House Genesis/Doom 32X Help

    Hey there.
I was trying to find a cheat in Krusty's Fun House for the Genesis where there's no mice left (IE you can stand in front of the door to complete a level). I was able to find the code in all other versions except this one and was wondering if anybody with more experience with Genesis hacking than I could help me out, as I have recently learned to hack Genesis games.

Also, I seem to be having a problem with the 32X Doom. I have the cheats activated but they don't seem to work. For example, I use the infinite health cheat and my health stays at 100% but I end up dying anyway. I tried the infinite ammo cheat and I kept firing to test if I really had unlimited ammo but it eventually ran out. Do I need some kind of patch to use 32X cheats?

    Thanks for your time.

I'll look at Krusty's when I get some time (maybe tomorrow).

As far as Doom 32x, those PAR codes in the db are fake (as you already know). If I remember, I'll add a note to those codes.

If you want "real" infinite ammo, you'll need to use some 32x codes I made a while back. If you're using Kega Fusion version 3.63 or higher, you can just enter the codes as shown. Any other emulator and you'll have to hack the codes into your ROM. This is because they are true 32x assembly codes, and Fusion is currently the only emulator that handles the codes correctly. If you're not using Fusion, hacking the codes into your ROM is very easy. Let me know if you need any help with that.

There is no infinite health code yet, but there are a few codes that help you get more health on pickups, and codes that help with armor. Here's a link to the codes: http://codehut.gshi.org/32xROMhacks.txt

EDIT: Did you try the "Infinite Armor" PAR code? If so, did it work correctly, or did it have the same problem as the other 2 codes?

      Thanks, Tony! I'd appreciate that!
I do use Fusion (I believe version 364). I plan on making a thread for some Master System/Game Gear codes I've found, but here's the Krusty's Fun House cheat for the GameGear/Master System version: 00C24C:00. I tried to find the code for the Genesis version several times but had no luck. It seems this version's coded totally different than the others.
Also, thanks for the Doom 32X codes! I was able to make the small health powerups give you 100 health like medkits.

For Krusty's Fun House, I tried downloading GENS, but I can't figure out how to find cheats for it. As far as I know, Fusion is the only emulator that you can locate cheats.

Glad to hear the codes worked. I already added "Fake" to the PAR code descriptions. Didn't change the "infinite armor" code description because I can't remember if it works or not. Did you try that code? Did it work?

Also, don't forget about the "Access secret levels" code for Doom in the db. You should be able to enter that as a Game Genie code in Fusion or Gens.

I think I tried the infinite armor code and I don't think it worked for me.

A little confused about what to do on the first level of Krusy's Fun House.

            1) The first place where I see mice, they walk into a shallow pit and get stuck there. I'm guessing I'm supposed to move that block above them so they can hop out of the pit, and then get trapped by Bart's machine? Problem is that I can't figure out how to move the block.

            2) I assume I'm supposed to get all the mice "trapped", and then a door will open to exit the level? If so, which door opens? Is it the door right where you first start?

Oh I'm sorry. Let me explain how it works.
To the right of where the pit is there's a machine, which you're supposed to lead the mice into. On the first level there's six (I think) but I tried almost everything on Fusion and ended up with nothing. Once you get all the mice, you go back to the door where you started the level and Krusty will wave at the screen and leave the room. Once you're out of the room, there should be a padlock on the door to show you beat it. On some levels you have to get a purple block that stars come out of to beat it completely.
You can jump on top of the purple block and press down to pick it up, then press down again to drop it. Just drop it in the corner and form a stairway for the mice to walk into the machine that Bart is controlling.

I have a code for Krusty's that's pretty close to what you wanted. You only have to clear one room to finish the level. Still working on other codes.

                Krusty's Super Fun House (Genesis)

                ABAT-AA6W
Can walk into most locked doors. For example, in the first level there are a total of 7 doors (3 upstairs and 4 downstairs). You have to clear the first 6 rooms before the last door downstairs will become unlocked. With this code, you can walk into the last door downstairs even if it's locked. Once you clear this single room (I think it's called the Bonus Room), you can advance to the next level. Should work on all levels. Also allows you to re-enter locked rooms that you've already cleared.

EDIT: Just found the exact code you wanted. Will post shortly.

                  Krusty's Super Fun House (Genesis)

                  AKNT-AA56
Can exit rooms even if you haven't killed all the mice or collected all the stuff. Just stand in front of the door and turn the code on for one second and then turn the code back off.

                  AKNT-AA8R
Only have to clear one room to unlock the final/bonus room.

                    Thanks a lot!
I tried the first code but nothing happened.
EDIT: Thanks! The first code was exactly the one I was looking for. The reason your code didn't work at first was because I loaded the Europe ROM.

Walk thru walls when walking right.

                      RZKA-A6WL
Walk thru walls when walking left.

                      ================

Can do some pretty cool exploring with these codes. You can walk on top of some of the levels, and even cross over from one level to another. I did notice that once I crossed over to another level/building, I couldn't enter some doors any more, although I didn't try using the "Can walk into most locked doors" code. Will give that a try.

Beat me to the punch I was going to hack that code. Nice job though.

Pretty cool codes! Here's the code I have for the other versions for no mice left:
GameBoy version: 010013C4 (Turn off after beating stage)
                            SNES version: 7E004800
I already mentioned the GG/SMS version, though I'm going to create my own thread of the GG/SMS codes I have.
