  • (GBA) Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls Action Replay v3 code request

    Hello,
I need a GBA ARv3 code for the Final Fantasy 1 portion of Dawn of Souls that gives you Infinite HP DURING a battle (especially a boss battle, which I'm having trouble in). All of the codes I've tried on the site either don't work or just maxes out your hp (you STILL lose HP during a battle) and refills it AFTER each battle. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The code page for this game is a complete mess.

I have no experience with ARv3 codes but if I am understanding it correctly, these should work:

    In-Battle Infinite HP (World Map)
    Character 1
    973D2D2C 8389ED21

    Character 2
    815A3E8C 8D5E8E1C

    Character 3
    0266BE7A 8F08BAD9

    Character 4
    9EE034DA DDDEC9BA

    In-Battle Infinite HP (Dungeons)
    Character 1
    D285B621 F7FA09B8

    Character 2
    66DCD41F F7F73A17

    Character 3
    8F592154 6EC8D674

    Character 4
    2FB02965 0C93B68D

Sorry, but these codes don't work.

Forget my last code request, I have a new one for this game. Can anyone make a code for the Final Fantasy II portion of this game that protects all characters from status ailments (AKA a No Status Ailments code for FFII). I would most appreciate it. Thanks!

That's strange as they should work with:

        (M)
        ee1efec7
        48525217
        2500cebb
        307bd24b

I also just noticed this site has a converter here which gave the same results as the ones I got.

        Anyway, onto your request.

        For CodeBreaker:

        No Status Ailments (In Battle)
        Character 1
        82009168 0000

        Character 2
        82009360 0000

        Character 3
        82009558 0000

        Character 4
        82009750 0000

Also seems to protect against KO status (meaning you are not dead even if HP is 0). Might also nullify buffs (haste, barrier, shell etc)

        For ARMAX (v3/v4?):

        No Status Ailments (In Battle)
        Character 1
        6F82F04B 9A4B7FB1

        Character 2
        506A396A 059BD634

        Character 3
        92CE8BBE F2E88497

        Character 4
        9BD3D68B 75104F62

If these do not work either, please provide some cheats that do work for you along with the master code and we'll go from there.

I also have a code request for Final Fantasy II...a code that raises your magic levels every battle. Odd, because I could find the code before, and it doesn't seem to be there now. I'm hoping I can find it in Game Shark form as the other codes I use are for Game Shark. I sometimes have problems that occur if I mix code types, especially since Code Breaker generally has the (M) Must Be On codes where Game Shark does not.

I would really like to see a Code for FF1 Dawn of Souls as below

I need to get GBA codes that do the same thing as the codes below did on the NES, Namely allow any character to buy any magic spell, equip any weapon or equip any armor (the last two are truly optional...the Magic is the key one).

The reason for this is because I want Fighter to be able to act like a Paladin but with higher level magic, Ninja to actually go up high in magic or use Master with healing magic. This way I can replace the Red Mage in my party.

If anyone is able to create Gameshark or Action Replay Codes that could perform that function, it'd be incredible...

The original NES Game Genie Codes (Final Fantasy) were as follows.

            Magic

            PZEXKLIX
AAEXSLGP : Any character class can buy any magic spell.

If you wish to know the effect of what I'm talking about, open FCEUX and FF1 nes rom (both must be found elsewhere) and input the above two codes in Menu / Game Genie Decoder/Encoder. Put it in the Game Genie slot and add the code. Do it with both then enter a magic store. You will be able to buy White or Black Magic and put it on any of your four characters (even if they are Black Belt) or have no Magic points.

MP isn't a problem for characters in FF1 Dawn of Souls (For the most part), but it's getting the spells ON the characters that is the problem.

            Weapons

APKLXGAV : Any character class can equip any weapon.

            Armor

XTNUSGAV : Any character class can equip any piece of armor.
