  • Code request: WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw 2007 NTSC

    Code request: version 2.01 PS2

    Disable USB drivers/modules completely

I ask for this code because this game will not work on OPL/ESDL on a phat PS2 from USB, instead it just sits at the title screen with no controller input. This game however has no problem running from USB on a slim PS2, also I do not have a HDD for PS2 fat nor a crossover cable (yet).

Thanks Hacc, I'm not sure why this game has any USB modules. I mean it doesn't go online like SVR 2006 did. If anybody wants I can upload the ELF for inspection. (IF this it allows it like CMP does) So far I have found nothing, I'm not a programmer but I was able to make a few codes with PS2DIS. (Still trying actually)

Did you try disable Mode 8 in OPL?

I tried all the options, but nothing. The USB is definitely the problem, it just sits at the title screen. The USB has an indicator when data is being read/wrote & it constantly blinks rapidly.

          Off-topic:
I have the slim model & my brother has the the fat PS2, it's his game but he can't play it on there because:
          1. His disc is cracked
          2. The phat model won't read DVD's only CD's. At least the game was backed up before the disc cracked.

            Oh, well I tried.

the problem is not usb driver but OPL disc emulation on phat ps2's bios modules incomplete.

What model of PS2 you have?
What version of OPL and PS2ESDL you using?

I search on the web have Mode 3 and 8 ON should have work.

              The fat model is a SCPH-30001 R
              OPL 0.8
              ESDL 0821_OB (Last version)

For the most part ESDL works better, I have tried OPL 0.9 & it has a good bit a freezes with me.

EDIT: Tried it & nothing happened...

unfortunately I dont have this game and phat ps2.

This is the opl.0.8.r590 version I'm using, when PS2ESDL v0.821 cant load a game.

PS2ESDL is not bloated as OPL is, this why it better.

Found the problem, it lies within one of the video files. I was able to crosslink the video and now it plays three times including the title but now the game is playable on phat and slim models.

@47iscool ., I own a modded ps2(I only play with fat32 USB), My Smackdown vs Raw 2007 freezes at 'PRESS START BUTTON' screen. I am also on OPL 0.7.
Can you please let me know what all changes you made in your SVR 07 and please mention the files and full detailed process.
Sorry I am not that expert in these things.
                      Please help soon.

I'm I sure can help you. But you'll need to help me as well.

Unfortunately I do not have the game on my USB at the moment. I also assume you use USBUtil v2.0 to copy the game on there.

All I need from you is a list of the video files it has. They should be either SFD or AFS files.

This is the screenshot from the 'movies' folder.
Whereas the .std and .asf files are in 'music' folder as well, but they aren't video files I suppose.
And yes I use USButil v2.0 to move the file.
                          Thanks for the quick reply

NOTE: Make sure you have the game backed up before doing this as it's been a while and I'm still trying to remember how all I did it.

On usbutil select SVR07, select FILES:Configuration>Manual Configuration.

It will tell you that it can't find any videos or something similar. On the bottom left tab choose ALL. Select these exact videos and choose "coincide":

                            logos.sfd
                            topmenu.sfd

Hopefully that should work. If not let me know. Also make sure to save your changes.

Coinciding all the three .sfd files did the trick. Thanks a lot for the help, now I can play the game without any problem.
And can you recommend any other software like usbutil,
I can play Harry potter Order on phoenix on PC, via pcsx2
But the same iso doesnt work on ps2 when I transfer the game with usbutil, So I need some other software which do the same work.
