Is posible Megaman legends auto lock-on?

I have tried to make a code that add lock-on when you press the square button but without results, is posible make it? i need it to play in a psp that not have R2 button.
Also would serve R1+L1=R2, any sugestion?

if you play ps1 version on psp the L2 & R2 are mapped to psp anlog stick by default, you can change this.
psp version should be mapped to d-pad?
