on the real sega genesis it does because it stay on the black screen when I put codes in

Do you get a black screen when you use the code above? Keep in mind that I have to wait almost 10 seconds before the game starts, even without any codes. Are you sure you're waiting long enough?

yes I waited it still won't come on at all it comes on when I put the game in by itself

Does it work if you have the Game Genie attached, but don't enter any codes?
