going to try SF2 on real hardware

ive got a "power plug" accessory on the way from ebay, and a PAR (haven't had a physical par for eight years)
and will try my hand at cracking those shining force 2 cheats

while looking them up for reference
i found this from the net for the original shining force, another button cheat it seems (who knew? not me!)

. Start a new game/load an existing game, and before Simone's last line (ie before the screen fades to black to bring you in the game) hold either A, B or C.
Enjoy the features tied to each button.
A = Battle test
B = Chapter test
C = Ending

works fine on my everdrive (and on fusion, regen isnt playing well with me ATM) you cant save with this code or progress in the game, its just a developers test feature.

new news-the fabled battle select and game flag select cheat for shining force two are triggered by holding either down or up after you have entered the battle config cheat (debug cheat)
easiest way to do this would be to enter Tony's cheat codes and just hold up or down on the title screen
