If you're wanting to change a lot of text, it might be a bit hard to do it on an actual playstation, at least using a gameshark... If I'm remembering right, the text is decompressed to one area, and then copied to another to be put on screen. It'd be easiest to change the first one... But that might be exactly what KE's code does, I can't remember...

Man, I finally picked up a new copy of FF7 at the mall for like ten bucks (my old one was scratched, and in Texas, heh), to play on my little PSOne with a built-in screen...been a while since I've touched FF7. It's almost like playing it for the first time again...I think I could hack it with my laptop, and CEP...if that's possible, I'm going to test out some ideas I've had about the in-town graphic mod project...
