I just had to post this, especially because it was hacked tonight and is pretty much completely useless. But, it's quite likely this could be turned into a disc patch (for the English translation, of course)...

Fix Title Screen (English patched version...)

Now, all this does is move the text over a little, make the cursor longer, and moves the little white arrow over. That's all... Useless unless you want the title screen to look nice, like it might've been if Square had actually done it themselves...

That code is only useful if you're using the English patch. Otherwise, it'll probably screw up the menu a bit. Not to the point of being unusable though.
