I'd like to see if Game Genie codes would work on a real unit, because if they do, it would mean Gameboy Game Genie codes could be converted to work on the SNES with the Super Gameboy.

Yeah, it works. i remember cutting up the casing of my GB Game Genie almost as soon as the SGB came out. Once you can make it fit in there, the codes work fine.
