Um.. the code for "Infinite Crest Graphs" for Wild Arms (made by RPGod) doesn't seem to work, at least not for me. I've tried it in a CodeBreaker, on PEC and on a GSPro 3.2

    Any ideas?

    **EDIT**

It does give me 2 slots of Heal Berries (50 in quanity each slot) in slots 19 and 20.

    **EDIT2**

Ummm... never mind it seems the address was wrong, it seems to be 8013404C 00XX

However, if the crest graph is moved, it'll generate other items with the same quanity specified by XX.

Hmm... That's a little odd, but not really considering it's just an item quanity modifier from your description. That makes though seeing how it works in the game.

I was about to say when you posted this til I saw you edited it all to what it is now hehe. Was going to say the crest graph code works, but you see that now.

Anyway I rememebr and know the items along with the creast graphs on this game is a mess, glad RPGod and others could figure the game coding out and make such great codes, I do reamamber waaay back in 1997 June when the game came out at how 'slow' the codes were comming along for the game. :P But glad after awhile the coding was found and figured out and all such great codes 'here' were made.

With that and otherwise, heck, I just hope and pray that codes for the CodeBreaker 2 and the PS2 version of the game 'remake' will be just as good as these. I hate to say it, but I do hope that GSCCC.com does not take a virtual shit on the game like they do and have most PS2 game titles in the world. I mean with all the genetic code mess, yes expected, but when it comes down to it, we gamers wish for mroe codes then the genetics, hope they do not take a shit, but heck they have so many times already on the whole PS2 hackign thing anyway.

This is the code written on the site..

        D013405E 0000
        8013405E 3232

It didn't work for me so I played around with EPSXE and PECchu and made the other one which seems to work for me, the infinite items in all slots code doesn't seem to work for me either

        This one

        800470F6 2400

But I don't know how to make those so I didn't look into it.

Strange.... :? I ROGod's code is not the one I am using in my GSPro either, and the codes in mine have been there for a long long time, the 'infinite crests graphs' code I have in mine is that same code you just made, but strange not sure where it came from, all I know it has been in there for years now.

Otherwise infinite items code I have and use is this one:

          5000FB01 0001
          30133F4C 0000
          5000FB01 0000
          3013404C 00FF
          800470F6 2400

As you see, I combined the crest graph with the infinite items code because crest graph is an 'item' (was about to erase that too, not recalling what it done or meant, glad I didn't, as I said been years sense I put these codes in.

Otherwise, that item code will give you 'alot' of blanks and otherwise 'unusible' items, but otherwise nothing bad, will give you 255 of all items in the entire game, removed or otherwise. (The reason so many blanks and otherwise unusible items. (Like Jack's 'Chris Knife' a weapon for the left hand. The player's guild even has that itme listed as on the 'full demo' the game had these things, but on the real game, Jack never is able to get or use a weapon in eahc hand---sad, but ehh is game life.) Anyway you get 255 of them too and his other left hand weapons. But as said cannot use them.

Anyway you know more about GSPro hacking and codes then I do, so you are aware of that by now and such, being you made an infinite creast graph code, which I'd say you deserve credit for now as not see that one on the site, but not to rain on you in anyway, I do have that code, yet no idea where it came from, but in anycase, should be recorded now and credited to you.

That's interesting. I had no idea there were items that worked in the demo that were disabled in the full game. It could be possible to hack them to work again, seeing as there's at least a few mentions in the memory about the demo version.

That infinite items(eh, not sure here... bear in mind I've been awake awhile) looks to be one of those silly assembly hacks. Now I'm not sure if anybody else has noticed, but the infinite items codes of that kind always seem to not work right, or cause other problems in my experience... Knowing some about that those thing, I'll take a look at what it really does.

Yeah, I was told by someone that it was an assembly hack, though I've never had problems using codes like that before, and I could have sworn that it worked originally.

The reason I want that one to work instead of the have all items code is because I'm a picky little bastard and don't want all items this time through

I guess eventually I'll learn how to make those kind of codes considering I've gotta learn ASM for hacking PC games.

Tell me, when you use my code, the D0 one.

                What exactly happens?

See I hacked this when in the Screen where you have spells put onto the Crest. Rather than doing it in the item menu screen.

I think First you have to have a Crest in your inventory for it to work.

I will check this out later.

It didn't seem to do anything at all except for give me 2 sets of 50 heal berries somewhere down the list. I had no items (other than a crest graph). I did test it by making a spell, I even picked up a second crest graph and still nada. I did only test it at the beginning of the game though, maybe it has to be used at a specific shop, or somewhere else besides the very beginning of the game?

Hmm. Okay, I'll check up on this code, after I'm done cooking. I'll let you know what I find out.

Thought I'd look into this while taking a break between movies, finished watching House of Flying Daggers, getting ready to watch Steamboy (which has the Preview to FF7 Advent Children wooo!).

Ok, I encountered the same problem, 2 slots of heal berries.

This is what I suggest, an it will take some patience.

First start the game, choose Cecilia, and go dissolve a spell, place the Crest graphin the 1st slot in you're inventory.

                      Save your game.

Reset, go to the gameshark menu and input this code:

                      D013404C 0000
                      8013404C 0040

Load your saved file with this code, save your game. Reset, Go to the GameShark Men and Disable the code, now use whatever other codes and continue on.

                      In your case, rather than:
First start the game, choose Cecilia, and go dissolve a spell, place the Crest graph in the 1st slot in you're inventory.
Just place a Crest Graph in the 1st slot, you don't have to start over.
Let me know if that helps, you should get 64 Crest Graphs, thats enough to get every spell in the game.
