I just tried that code and it works fine, but there is also a BETA version of this game so maybe that one is the problem? Perhaps it doesn't work like how he wants like be able to kill or pickup things when you're Invincible which seems to be the issues he has with the current Invincibility codes. On a side note have you been able to make that Jump Code tutorial Tony?

FANAT, first let me explain why the method you used on those codes (and probably many others you made) isn't such a good way to make codes. Your 5 codes for BOB to keep your guns after death are clearing (setting to zero) RAM address FF26DC. I'm guessing that you randomly picked 26DC as a replacement value for your codes. Since we don't know what RAM address FF26DC is for, we have no idea what side effects setting it to zero will cause.
Here's a much better way to make the codes. Keep in mind that I'm only going off of the codes that you posted.
Here are the 5 CLEAR instructions that you changed the addresses on for keeping guns after death:
04:4B86 42 6D CLR.W $C944(A5)
04:4B8A 42 6D CLR.W $C942(A5)
04:4B8E 42 6D CLR.W $C940(A5)
04:4B92 42 6D CLR.W $C93E(A5)
04:4B96 42 6D CLR.W $C93C(A5)
To cancel all 5 of those, just change the very first one to a Branch instruction so that it branches over all 5 CLEAR instructions:
044B86:6012
That single code should do the exact same thing, but without any unknown side effects. But remember, I haven't done any checking to see if your codes are the right ROM addresses, I'm just showing you how to shorten your codes, and avoid side effects.
60xx = Branch where xx = number of bytes to branch. And remember to ALWAYS branch to another instruction. If you don't, the game will probably crash.
As far as using 1 code to replace all 10 of your codes for keep gun and keep remo, I was mistaken. All 10 addresses are not sequential, so you can't use 1 branch code in that case. But you can shorten your keep remo after death code just like I showed you above, but it looks like it will take 2 branch codes instead of just 1.
Also, I noticed there is this line of code:
04:4BA6 3B 7C MOVE.w #$0003,$C934(A5)
I haven't checked, but I guessing that value of 0003 could be the value for the regular remo you start with. If you try changing that value, you may be able to get different remo (or maybe different amounts).Last edited by Tony H; 09-08-2012, 12:35:29 PM.

FANAT, just wanted to make a suggestion on lots of your codes. Your 5 part code above for "Keeping Gun After The Death" for B.O.B. can easily be shortened down to a single code. Your 5 codes are changing the addresses that are getting cleared. Not good because we probably don't know what side effects that will cause. A much better way would be to put a branch instruction at the very first Clear instruction (42 6D CLR.W). 1 code instead of 5.
Also, from the looks of it, you could use 1 code (a branch instruction) to replace all 10 of you B.O.B. codes above (Keep Gun After Death, and Keep Remo After Death), since they're all consecutive instructions.Last edited by Tony H; 09-08-2012, 09:45:45 AM.
