[GCN][AR]Harvest Moon: Magical Melody[NTSC/US]

Hi everyone, I'm not completely sure if I'm able to...but I wanted to request a couple of Action Replay codes for Harvest Moon: Magical Melody, Gamcube.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to code:

Barn Animal Max Affection code - I already know there is a code for this, BUT I noticed it doesn't do every barn animal available, only 2.. I'm hoping maybe an improved version can be made.

Tool Experience Gain code - Again, this HAS been made but it seems to freeze the game when activated.. It would be way more useful than using the slot modifier codes to get the Goddess Tools.

That's all I can really come up with so far, I really, REALLY appreciate if anyone is comfortable with making/repairing these codes. If I missed any information I needed in my post, please let me know.

So I've yet to find out if the Barn animal code works correctly for ALL the livestock in the barn/coop, but I did try using the encrypted Gecko code version of the 4x Tool EXP gain on my dolphin emulator, since I prefer to play my Magical Melody game disk on my desktop for the improved graphics. Basically I tried using a tool in-game and this error message pops up:



Usually if I used this code on my gamecube where Gecko isn't an option for codes, the game would just freeze/crash. So I was wondering if anyone knew what this error meant and if it might lead to a solution for the code to work..? I'd really appreciate any feedback, thanks in advance!

x8 Tool Exp. Fixed!

I spent so long last night trying to find an answer to this only to fix it myself on a total fluke :/ As a last resort I started messing with the code because I knew that it worked on some level (it worked for me before) so I just took out the first line and voila!
The original AR code was:

073E4E28 08000000 <--- I removed this line.
040A4CBC 83470000
800A4CC4 00000008

I then entered it in a an AR code and it worked perfectly straight off the bat! Hope it works for you too If not, then just mess around with it a little :P

I'm also stuck on the barn animals though so if anybody has a fix for that it'd be great!

So I tried the code you put down and it seems to only work on A: the first animal you buy or B: the 1st animal it chooses. Cause I have a level 2 barn and I bought 6 Animals 2 Cows 2 Sheep and 2 Horses out of all six only 3 got full hearts and it was one of each type. So I don't Know where to go from there

I tried doing the code saving then undoing the code save it then do the code again to see if it would fill the other 3 but it didn't. And I reloaded for all of that too so If anyone's got ideas I'm all ears

I think I finally made a breakthrough regarding the "All Barn Animals 10 Hearts" code. I found that increasing/decreasing the last byte of the decrypted code (2C) in hexadecimal increments of 11 you could manipulate which animals got 10 Hearts. Here are my results:

NOTE: All codes were tested in Dolphin 5.0 on a full coop and a full level 2 barn containing 3 cows, 1 horse, and 4 sheep. ETA: Codes were further verified using Orginal GamerCube Action Replay. I could not discover a version of the code that would do all chickens at once, but all five chicken codes can be applied at the same time, with the side effect of maxing out one or two barn animal's hearts as well.

RECOMMENDED DIRECTIONS:

1. Apply Chicken Codes, Launch Game
2. Save, Quit, Deactivate Chicken Codes
3. Apply Barn Animal Code, Launch Game
4. Save, Quit, Deactivate Barn Animal Code
5. Profit

Maxed animals with these codes have won their respective festivals, does not affect pets, does not affect horse training. All codes based off of a decrypted version of Jaytheham's "All Barn Animals 10 Hearts" code.

I sincerely hope others are able to use these codes to their benefit!!

Hello! Does anyone have the fixed codes for the Tool Experience? Tried putting the Action Replay code into the GameCube and the game keeps freezing and I was wondering if there’s a fixed version. Thanks everyone!

Edit: If anyone has the fixed code for the “All Barn Animals Max Hearts” I’d appreciate that as well! The current one only has a few barn animals at max hearts and not all of the ones currently in my barn.
