Hi all, this is my first post/thread and I'm already asking 4 something. but if you do this 4 me I'll help you even if U don't help me I'll help u. one thing I want to learn how to do is hack. I did know how back when they had game shark pro that let you make your own codes, so I know about dec. hex.
but until I do learn would someone convert these codebreaker codes for ver. 8 and higher. to Action Replay max codes. I don't know if u need this but I will tell u anyway. this is 4 Grand Theft Auto 3 for PlayStation 2. these R the codes I would like 4 U to convert.

    Code One
    2A3B113B 03E00008
    2A27113B 00000000

    Code Two
    2A6339CA 00000000
    2A5339CA 00000000

    Thank You

    Try these out:

    code 1:
    C3TA-Q466-6M2CE
    4AK4-P9N8-P0ZQ3
    46VN-VR49-BH6D7

    code 2:
    9NFN-37D4-RDE57
    2DUJ-2ZRJ-T9W2M
    Q5PZ-4X2E-9X7C3

I used a combination of programs to get these codes which we have available here on our site http://gamehacking.org/?s=downloads#section10 . First I used CB2crypt to decrypt the codes then I used Omniconvert to convert from CB Raw to ARMax.

you could just use omniconvert only to convert them (but that my opinion)

the codes he posted is Codebreaker v1 format

Input Codebreaker v1+ (All) to Output Action Replay Max in omniconvert

You need to post an existing AR MAX code for the game so 1.) We can see what region you're trying to use the codes on, as those codebreaker codes are very likely for the non-GH NTSC U/C version of the game. And... 2.) We can check game ID of the codes you are using to match them up.

I thought I knew a little bit about hacking until I looked over this site. I don't know anything about hacking. So since I don't know anything about hacking I have some questions about about your questions bfoos. " You need to post an existing AR MAX code for the game" do you mean a code that I use for the game(grand theft auto 3)that works with out a problem? If so this is one No Pedestrians ZD40-3AE9-WUFQV 79RD-UR05-2BEPW(this is a ARM code). "We can see what region you're trying to use the codes on" I live in the state of Georgia(USA) so that is NTSC region ain't it? I do not know how to give you the ID code. thank you for any help.

I knew it could but could't get it to convert until I tried what you just posted, anyways try this out :

              Code One
              9E9D-FPCV-U1XKQ
              4AK4-P9N8-P0ZQ3
              46VN-VR49-BH6D7

              Code Two
              TEFM-Y5HH-6DMPQ
              2DUJ-2ZRJ-T9W2M
              Q5PZ-4X2E-9X7C3

Thank you they worked. I downloaded omniconvert and read almost all of the info. then I took a code that worked fine on my ARM then find the code that does the same thing in codebreaker and tried to convert it to ARM. and I would know when it was right because I already had that code. but no matter what I did only the second line was right. the first line was wrong. so I thought that maybe it would still work that the first line could be different but I was wrong. could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? and yes I converted it to raw then the raw to ARM and I all so tried it without making it raw. also how do I find out what a games ID is? or do I just type the name of the game in the box that says name of game? thanks for any help.

The game ID I just converted the Master code into raw and the Game ID is automatically filled in on the Game ID section. Not sure if the omniconvert you used will automatically do that since the latest version isnt on our site so here what I used.

The first line changing is normal. The first line isn't technically part of the code for AR MAX. It just contains info about the code, including the Game ID and other things that I can't recall at the moment.

And yes, omniconvert will indeed grab the ID from an AR MAX code and automagically fill it in.

(ok head stop spinning)First let me thank you both. please correct anything I have wrong that I'm about to type. "I just converted the Master code into raw and the Game ID is automatically filled in" master code? do you mean the MUST BE ON code? and if you do on the ARM that code is hidden. "Not sure if the omniconvert you used will automatically do that since the latest version isnt on our site so here what I used." is the link u posted the latest version? "The first line isn't technically part of the code for AR MAX." does this mean that I can use just the second line and it will work? and again thank you both for all of your help. I'm sure you both think that all I can do is ask questions. just as soon as I learn to hack codes I'll be helping others. but until I do it sure is nice for you both to help me.

Master Code, Must Be On, Enable Code, (M)... all the same thing.

No, both lines are required. The first line isn't part of the code is a factual statement, as it is AR MAX specific and does not contain a RAM address or anything of the sort.

ok let me see if I have this right. say I was converting a Game shark,Codebreaker or Action Reply Max code to another code. lets say it is a codebreaker code to an Action Replay Max code.(as this will be what I'll be doing most of the time for myself and I'll be doing the others for other people)do I take the must be on code for the one I'm converting it from or the must be on code for the one I'm converting it to? and convert it to raw/encrypted and that will give me the game ID. then take the code it self and select input the code in this case it would be input>codebreaker>version 7+(common key). then output>Action replay>Max. then click convert and I have the new code, Right??? please correct anything I have wrong.
                          OLD1 Thanks You

To put it simply, you need a working code for whatever games you want to convert to (like the "Must Be On" code for GT3) and just convert it so you can get the GAME ID. Once you have that then you can convert the codes from other devices over to the ARM, the reason is that the oddball code format of the ARM has a check for the Game ID and also will encrypt the raw/converted codes based on that Game ID. A good example of this was my first post in trying to help, I just chose a random ID as a test and posted the results but once I had the correct ID it all worked out for you.

I just tried getting the game ID for grand theft auto 3. and I got 0274 is this the Game ID you used to get my codes? to get this I converted a ARM code that I knew worked and converted into and ARM code, was that right? doing this gave me the same code as I had which I didn't need but it also gave me the game ID too. which I did need.

                              OLD1 Thanks You
