I've assembled files of the Game Genie codebooks that I know about, and put them all in 1 zip file. It includes Gameboy Game Genie codes that I wasn't able to find anywheres but the original book that came with the Game Genie, and some codes that I only saw in the Gameboy Game Genie Code Update books.

Sweet, I must admit and say, if it is Okay, I'd take that and add it here to the site, as a zip file and as also in text format, that is if it is Okay with ugetab and everyone else and will not cause any *cough* legal mess *cough*

I say that and also say sweet because I have just ONE game genie book, that is the SNES one, I bought the game genie for Genesis and NES 'used' and well you know used mess, you do not get any books at all most times, so no book with those at all, so reviving the books and 'original' codes would be great here, I think, and would hope so.

Also because even looking into the SNES code book I have (mine came with two, one original one and another 'update' brand new codes for Street Fighter 2 games heh well was big back in those days, but otherwise ALOT of those codes for alot of games they do not even have or show on even the Game Genie site itself.

So I would say please to add them if it is all 'Okay' because I am sure, like myself alot of us older console game players who still ahev and sue game genies and such, I am sure without books and without GameGenie.com having ALL their codes, those books and codes would make game life great.

Go ahead and add the zip, and the text files. I put the thing up for archival purposes, but a text version would be nice for those with a fast connection, and for something that can be searched easily.

There shouldn't be any legal problems with this sort of thing. Galoob no longer exists, there hasn't been a Game Genie sold in years, and gamegenie.com is just using the name.

Yeah, galoob has gone under so there's noone left to sue anyone about using those codes. I like the idea of having them as zip or text files. I like to leave the posting of official company made codes to other sites.
