After successfully applying the English-language patch from Romhacking dot comm, I STARTED to attempt to hack some FCEU codes for this game. However, it soon became a chore, not at all entertaining. I was wondering if anyone else here was attempting, or will attempt,to hack any codes for it? If so, good luck, and I hope U have patience!

Hmm, Akira looks like a straight up adventure game: not something I would enjoy hacking at all. I have the feeling that any cheats would be on a case-by-case basis, which would mean going through the entire game... talk about a tedious endeavor
There is the possibility of finding hidden scenes that never made it into the final release, and of making a cheat that takes you straight to the ending... but it just doesn't seem worth it, IMO :\
