  • Sonic CD requests possible?

    I'm wondering if anyone can please hack codes in ArtMoney for Sonic CD that I can use in the latest Kega Fusion? I need the following codes;

    - Invincibility (can walk through enemies without getting hurt)
    - Have all time stones
    - Infinite time in special stages
    - Never drown
    - Enable the level select
    - Enable the sound test
    - Enable the debug mode

Most of these should be easy to create but the have all time stones code is the most important and most needed. I tried creating them myself but I had no luck. =( Regards and many thanks in advance!

Some of these cheats are on the ArtMoney official site:
    http://www.artmoney.ru/tables/SegaCD/Sonic%20CD.amt
    Fusion uses reverse bytes order.
    Also for Windows version: http://www.artmoney.ru/tables/WIN/Sonic%20CD.amt

Upd.: Invincibility and position modifier codes for Fusion here: http://www.mediafire.com/?d0nfcr1g8gga3qc
I need saves in special stages.

What kind of special state saves do you need? Start of special stage? Pre-time stone? Post time stone? For the debug mode/level select there's in-game cheats for those: http://www.gamefaqs.com/segacd/587997-sonic-cd/cheats

I'm thinking for those just find the 'enable switch' for those (like for other level select/debug mode cheats for other Genesis Sonic games).

EDIT: Special stage save states: http://www.mediafire.com/?bit17as4pbi2a2c

Also I'd like to use the Amazing Spider-Man Vs. The Kingpin codes found on the ArtMoney site but they're only for Gens. Is there a way I can convert them to Kega?

For Fusion, check "reverse", and try adding offset +1h/+2h/+3h/+4h:

See this thread for an example: http://gamehacking.org/vb/threads/47...1656#post51656

If someone can port Pro Action Replay codes to the ArtMoney format, you can use these codes for Sonic CD I made in a special build of Kega I used to have with Sega CD GG/PAR code use and creation unlocked:

            FF151F:0001 Invincibility
            FF1589:0001 Enable Debug Mode
            FF0F20:7F00 Have 1 Time Stone
            FF0F20:0101 Have 2 Time Stones
            FF0F20:0302 Have 3 Time Stones
            FF0F20:0703 Have 4 Time Stones
            FF0F20:0F04 Have 5 Time Stones
            FF0F20:1F05 Have 6 Time Stones
            FF0F20:7F00 Have All 7 Time Stones/Good Futures
            FF151E:0001 Always Have Shield

They're not on the main page's database either, so they can be added.

Thanks a lot King of Chaos. For use this PAR codes, first create a table with Your own personal data, with Kega Fusion emulator option.
RMB in right table - "Copy" (Ins). Next enter address in Emul. address field, set value type, check "reverse" and click OK button.

Yep, I already ported them except the time stones code (FF0F20:7F00) - I'm guessing it's something about the value that's wrong, tried 1, 2 and 4 integers. Have you had any luck with that one?

EDIT: Tried your invincibility code that's different from mine. Yours works good except it seems you can't get any rings. Mine works kinda like the starman effect, any enemies that touch you die, not walking through like requested unfortunately.

Yeah, I've tried different values and the have all time stones code isn't working, not sure what I'm doing wrong. All the other non-time stones codes work fine though. If anyone can get it to work, all levels *should* have the good futures automatically with no giant ring at the end of each level when you have 50 rings I remember correctly. However to confirm the code's working, the third boss act should be the good future automatically.

                  I'm stumped. =\

I attempted to make the time stones code work again, but I still can't figure out why it's not working with the required value. iddqd, can you look into getting FF0F20:7F00 to work correctly when you have the time? Thanks.

What special version of Kega was this? What is it called? What version number is it?

Nice! I'll give it a good testing and see what happens.

                            EDIT: Works good.

It was a build that Snake gave to me with that dialog about needing to load a SMS/GG/Genesis disabled so cheating in Sega CD games was possible. However, it won't work for most games. It was a older build that I've since lost in a hard drive failure a year ago.
