Wild Arms 'Name' Code Request?

ah ratz...well should have put this in the other Wild Arms topic, but eh well, we need mroe topics, and otherwise, the other one sence being 'done' not sure it is viewed much anymore otherwise, other then to add the code please soon. :wink:

Anyway, is there a code hack out there, or otherwise asking for them to 'edit' and name the charatcers, please? (same as with all other games, you all know me, big on the name type codes, so yes am and well ehck not sure why it took me this long to ask, should have asked this request years agio really.)

So yes, seeking a code for all named characters to change their names and have it savible please.

EDIT: err heck, also kind of makes me 'wonder' if it is also at all possible to 'name' other characters other then the three you get and control? I mean like Emma (that scientis girl that makes me think they ripped off Lucca from Chrono Trigger) and other charatcers in the game you do not play as, but run into alot, friends and foes...makes me wonder if you can maybe 'name' them also? Boomerrang, 'Zed'... and others?

I might have the addresses for names around somewhere... I found all that stuff years ago when I was making my Wild Arms save game editor. (same goes for the time code you wanted, but LMZ covered that for you already). I'll see if I can find them, but if can't, do you have any way to get psx saves on your PC? You could use my editor to do what you want. (I have it on my HD somewhere... though I seem to have lost the source code =\ )

Edit: Upon looking at the save editor, I see that I didn't include an option to change the names.. odd. I know I found the data in ram and in the save... Well, it should be easy to find. I won't be able to do it anytime soon (psx is broken, could do it with emulation but my PCs will be fairly busy for the next few days), so if anyone else wants to do it, by all means...

If no one has done it by thursday or friday I will pop it in and look.

I do have a way to save PSX games to PC (Old Dex Drive) I still use and plane to use. (a whole other issue but asked about it gosh been a long time now last year or so, I asked Lazy about it and providing saves for games I have 'code saves' and well near all I have that can be added via that Dex Drive Kind of a good thing and also bad, blahhh not many have a Dex Drive these days nor really a PC that can even handle it. (that danr 15 pin hook up...and now any 'newer' PC has got rid of thsoe and has all those USB ports.) But well, am and was planning on providing saves and such when I get to them.

So far well, got one game done, darn it, yeah am slow with games, but am working on them, anyway I asked aboiut it a long time ago adding a saves section and well would like to get that done well someday, off topic here but well is a wish and thing I would like to do.

Otherwise, yes I rememebr your time code, well it was then converted by TruWizdom, I think and this was waaay back on the old board, I know I had it once, but 'erased' my old saves and codes on my GS's when doing these new revised codes, blahhh and then I found some codes no one had a back up of----some may say opps, but I say well shit. :P

Thanks to LMZ for finding it again, just one of those codes, and well here we have alot of codes that are special to this place so back ups always good. :wink:

Anyway and otherwise, if no one til when you are able to can look into it, I'd really like what you find.

Great Codes Thank You ugetab. Those can and should be added now, please.

Otherwise, goodness.... :shock: :cry: I hope all goes well in fixxing those things Edgar and LMZ, not only because the PSX is a wonderful system even today, and the loss of one is really hard, specialy hard being even they (those with the GS P/O port are getting extremly rare) they are all rebought or dead already.... :cry: ) But also because with a few requests still out there on the PSX front, I have still interested alot in.

But otherwise forget code requests, and all that otherwise just hope all gets better and goes well for you both.
