  • Visual Boy Advance codes inquiry

I hacked a few codes for Visual Boy Advance, do I need to convert them to a certain format or can I just post them as is?

I think VBA codes are the same as Cobrebreaker codes.

I dont see a problem posting codes made using VBA.

long as you state which format you are post.

VBA codes are basic same as RAW format.

I was guessing that Codebreaker codes were pretty much the same but I wasn't sure. I'll probably just post them as is though. Does any other various Game Boy emulator have a code search feature? Using VBA's can be kind of annoying if you use save states often, if you go to a previous save state any codes you just made get washed out which means you have to save and load your cheat list constantly. It's aggravating.

Come to think about it, I would like a sort of list of emulators that have a search feature, a lot of emulation sites neglect to include that information.

Stick to this here http://doc.kodewerx.org/hacking_gba.html#cbtypes and then just post them as CodeBreaker (CB) codes, I used to hack GBA like a champ in the hay day and VBA emulator for hackers is the shit http://gamehacking.org/?s=downloads#section8 just be forewarned that the new saves on VBA 1.8+ are not compatible with this emulator.
