  • GC AR + GCNcrypt.

I hope this is the right place to ask this. I apologize in advance if it isn't.

Recently my Datel AR for my GC just arrived. Unfortunately, it is ver1.2, which means it does not let me add new codes. I heard it was possible to amend that by using gcncrypt. Could someone give me a tutorial on that please?

Also, I heard that the game id for most video games are the same for JP and US. Does that mean the ar codes used for them are interchangeable? If not, then:

Could someone help me decode that into the JP version of the game? Thanks.

if you got v1.2 no way you going add thing.

gcncrypt just code encrypt/decrypt program nothing more that.

Game ID are not same and codes are regional specific.

I do not know where you get your information is incorrect

        GCNrd comes with a disassembler.

You can use GCNrd or the Dolphin emulator to find the code. Just search for the character values used in the code to find the JP addresses.

So do I need to insert my game disc or AR disc into my computer? (I'm afraid of doing that because of possible compatibility issues w/ mini-dvds).
