  • Request: Tactics Ogre (SNES) code

I'm now starting the process of playing this game and trying to get each ending and variation of the SNES Tactics Ogre and since most of variations come from having certain characters or not, I was wondering if someone could make a code that will allow me to modify a character slot to have any of the important characters I choose there.

This ending FAQ (section 9 http://www.gamefaqs.com/snes/588770-...gre/faqs/14627 ) has codes to do just that, but they are for the Playstation version. I read somewhere that the values between the PS1 Gameshark codes and the SNES Action Replay codes are the same, so I would only need the address and I'll be set.

    Anyway, thanks in advance!

I'm sure he's already checked the database. He's a veteran.

Lee: Yep, I've checked both databases. But those codes are to modify a character you already have, I'm requesting a code to place a character you don't have on an available slot.

Those codes in the link I gave
should have same effect as ps1 version.

In the "Edit Character ## Codes" and "NPC Codes" first two codes (Edit Character - Image and Edit Character - Pic) listed
should able to change that character to other character.

If not, I wrong, I'm only trying to help out.

Okay, I'll check it out. Since it said pic and image, I just assumed that it was to change the visual part and not the actual character.

            *ninja edit!*

I tried it and it works! Both of those codes are not cosmetic, but they actually change the story!

            Thanks lee :P

Maybe the code description should be edited to be more precise/clearer?

Probably, but I wouldn't know where to start. There are tons of things to change.

Perhaps Clockworker & Dud Goose can help you to hack those codes for you.
They are still working on new version of snes tactics ogre trainer.
