    Alright, here they are: new codes for SMB3. There's so much to say about these, but I'll let the notes do the talking. Happy gaming!

    [B]Note: Just walk into an enemy to kick it. Jump underneath enemies to do the same... Just don't hold the B button while doing these things, or else you'll get hurt. Sliding Koopa shells and the like cannot hurt you anymore. Enemies that are not affected by this cheat include: Dry Bones, Boos, enemy projectiles, certain egg-blowing plants, and bosses, among other less common ones. Enemies' sprites will look funky as they slide; live with it. Hold the B button when killing dungeon bosses.[/B]

They can pretty much be treated as Koopa shells. This cheat causes Koopa-type enemies to never arise after being stomped. It also gives you a certain level of invincibility against most common foes, since many of the player-enemy interactions become offensive maneuvers on your part. Enemies that are not affected by this cheat include: Dry Bones, Boos, enemy projectiles, certain egg-blowing plants, and bosses, among less common things. Thwomps are no problem. Enemies' sprites will look funky when sliding along the ground, but they usually look cool doing it. Press B when killing dungeon bosses.[/B]

          This code removes goal card in end of stage and you not be able to finish any normal stages with this code enabled.

          @BeyondTheStatic, you can make a codes:
          • Raccoon and Tanooki Mario / Luigi can use their tail while crouched;
          • Fire Mario / Luigi can shoot fireballs while crouched;
          • fireballs travels completely straight;
          • replace background clouds with wooden moving up-down platforms;
          • replace background clouds and platform surfaces with wooden moving left-right platforms;
          • replace background clouds and platform surfaces with wooden platforms falling when Mario or Luigi step onto them;
          • Mario / Luigi can shoot and have more than 2 fireballs on screen at once (this code would be useful with "Boomerang Fireballs" code).

            I haven't looked at the codes that already exist for the game, but I'm trying to think of some things.

            1. Enemies take damage when they touch you, instead of you taking damage when they touch you.
            2. Have the effects of the frog suit in water without wearing the frog suit.
            3. I can't remember the big red fish that can eat Mario. Big John? Whatever its name is, there's probably a way to put it on all levels or remove it from all levels.
            4. Have the level slowly scroll to the right, or give areas that do that normal control so you can go where you want when you want.
            5. Replace enemies with bosses.
            6. World and level modifier.
            7. Jump height modifier.
            8. Have both Mario & Luigi on the same screen, which I'm assuming is impossible without a large amount of ASM modification.
            9. Unlimited time for the P! Powerup, or whatever that thing is that turns blocks into coins.
            10. Mushrooms give you suits modifier, and for all items.

              Try killing all the enemies in the area when the end goal is not in the screen, and then come back to it. With any luck it will be there. I tried this cheat with the 1st three levels, but experienced no problems. Since the end goal itself is a type of enemy, it might not appear if there are too many enemies onscreen at once.

              It would be a cool cheat, but moving platforms and static landscape elements are not the same kinds of objects. Moving platforms are actually a type of enemy, so to do what you're asking--if it's even possible--would probably delete many enemies from a level, including the end goal.

              What I probably can do is replace moving clouds with moving wooden platforms in levels such as airships, since those types of objects are compatible with each other.

              • Mario / Luigi can shoot and have more than 2 fireballs on screen at once (this code would be useful with "Boomerang Fireballs" code).
              That cheat would be a major hack, requiring dozens of codes. It's not a task I wish to undertake. Maybe if I could expand a ROM from a certain address (thus shifting all addresses downward) it might be possible, athough adding more fireballs to the equation would slow down gameplay at best, or crash the game at worst.

              I'll see what I can do about yours and bungholio's other requests. Once again, thanks for taking the time to test these cheats, Unicode!

                @BeyondTheStatic, in the game actually there are two types of note blocks. First type note blocks are white and second type are green. Only upper and bottom sides of White Note Blocks can bump Mario / Luigi when they touch it. Also, Mario / Luigi can be bumped from all four sides of Green Note Blocks, as they can bumps when player touch its left or right sides too, not upper and bottom sides only.

                These codes:
                Replace Spiral Clouds with Note Blocks (1st seen in 1-4)
                Replace Low Plants With Note Blocks (1st seen in 1-1, 1-2)
                replaces these backgrounds with White Note Blocks.

                Following codes:
                All Single Coin "?" Blocks Will Be Loaded As Note Blocks
                All Single Wooden Blocks Will Be Loaded As Note Blocks
                All Free Spinning Coins Will Be Loaded As Note Blocks

                replaces corresponding objects with Green Note Blocks.

                More suggestions for that classic game.
                • Replace Platform Tops With Wooden Blocks / White Note Blocks / ? Coin Blocks;
                • Replace All Normal Ground Surfaces With Ice Blocks / White Note Blocks / Green Note Blocks;

                • Sledgehammer Mario / Luigi Will Throws A Goombas / Koopa's Shells / Buzzy Beetles / Bullet Bills / Firesnakes, e.t.c. Instead Their Hammers;
                • Power-ups that can moves, as Red Normal Mushrooms, Green 1-Up Mushrooms and Invincibility Stars goes in direction where Mario or Luigi are, not in the opposite direction;
                • Invincibility Stars lasts 1/2, 2x, 3x time as long.

                I think these codes also would be cool.

                      I can't get that cheat working. I know what I need to do--I've narrowed down the specific addresses--but any codes I make for it crash the game. I've recently learned a few things about indirect indexing, so maybe I can now approach the problem from a slightly different angle.

                      But of course, the ground you see in level 1-1 doesn't appear everywhere, so "normal ground" can mean many things, depending on the world or level you're in. There isn't a single code that can replace all solid surfaces, at least not without replacing non-solid ones too ;P

                        SMB3 Flying Hack! (.nsp cheat file included)

                        Here's a somewhat lengthy cheat that allows flight while in the air and pressing SELECT. I have attached a Nestopia .nsp cheat file, which is usually just as good as any patch, although I can make a ROM patch if somebody really wants one.
