  • AdamL's SNES PAR codes

    Not sure if I'll make a lot of these, but whenever I do I'll post them in this thread.

    NOSFERATU

    Difficulty setting:
    7E008C0?

    1=Easy
    2=Medium
    3=Hard

    [Note: The only real purpose of making this code was to view the 3 different ending messages without having to play through the whole again. Immediately after defeating Nosferatu, set this code at whichever difficulty to view the ending message for that difficulty]
    US NES games left to beat: 3
    Last 2: Nobunaga's Ambition II and Gemfire

    Hacking games is always fun because you don't know what's hidden in the game.

      AdamL, did you read my private message I sent to you months ago regarding your "walk through" of the unreleased prototype (NES) Escape to Atlantis?

        Are you going to make an SNES Ending FAQ now Adam?

          AdamL, you still haven't beat those last 3 NES games. What if the world comes to an end on December 21, 2012 and you never wind up beating those last few games? What a shame that would be, huh?

          Or what if Snake Plissken enters the "World Code" by pressing "666" on the remote control to the "Sword of Damocles", that destroys all electronics everywhere on the planet using a focused electromagnetic pulse? How would you beable to live with yourself knowing that you came so close to beating all NES games?

            Maybe some day Rey, but for now I am just going through some of the SNES I always wanted to play but never made time for. I looked at your pics for Super Punch-Out!! at vgmuseum and noticed you only had the good ending pics listed. You probably know about the lesser ending and just haven't updated it yet, but if you lose to someone in the Special Circuit and then go on to beat Nick Bruiser in the final match, the screen that says CONGRATULATIONS NEW CHAMPION REY with the belt blown up in front of you and the times it took to beat the 4 opponents in Special Circuit will not have the belt blown up in front of you on this screen if you lose a match to any of those 4 guys. Just a minor detail, but one you may not have known about. And I thought you were gonna rag on me for switching to SNES

            OSG, I have no desire to play through Silent Service or Uncharted Waters...and even less to play through Miracle Piano. Maybe Plissken can wipe those games out of existence so I can achieve my quest by default.

              Aww man, Adam gave up on the NES

              As for the SNES stuff, since you are already playing those SNES games, you might as well write down their endings just in case you do decide to make a SNES FAQ.

              I don't remember much about SPO, but if I didn't include that it's probably because I didn't think it was relevant since it's probably just the same screen but without the belt.
