  • Mortal Kombat 2(Sega 32X) Game Genie Codes

Here are some Game Genie Codes for Mortal Kombat 2 Sega 32X(Jan 1995), I found mostly all of these codes by using the existing MK2 Genesis codes and using the Genesis version of MK2 with an hex editor and looking for the same coding in the 32X version, but I do need help finding the addresses to the characters attires so I can there colors, now note that these Game Genie codes only work with an emulator and not with a real 32X system, here they are:

Cool, I'm not sure how close the addresses were for these codes as opposed to the Genesis versions codes. But it's a good idea to convert the genesis codes to the 32x game. Cause from my experience doing PAR codes, their addresses weren't so far off from one another.

I tried a few of the codes out and they were pretty cool. You could probably label that magic carpet ride (Conveyer Belt effect) even. Anyway, I'll add these up ASAP. The site is undergoing a little construction so I don't think I can add them yet.

          Edit: They have been added.

hiro, I seen that you put up my codes, but I believe they are with the Genesis MK2 PAR Codes, not 32X MK2 PAR Codes.

Sorry, they have been moved to their respective sections.

BTW, hows the MK2 movie going along? I'm curious how much attention it got. BTW, if you plan to release any revisions of it, you should post a link here too, cause I don't really make more codes for gscentral. And all my codes from GSCentral can be found here.

My video got some very good reviews over at MK Online, most of the members who replied(not just downloaded it) said that there favorite moments in the video was parts in UMK3 where I did Stage Fatalities on any stage level and among other things, it was inspired by another MK video, but he use did the Arcade Versions of MK, where I use the Genesis versions, A good friend of mine was able to download the video before my download count ran out from so many people downloading it and he is still hosting it, you can download it here:http://mk.ediko.net/mkhs/ when you get to the page, he took some snapshots from the video, you can download the video and the video transcript where I explain how to the things seen in the video. Hiro, I still working on MK2(32X) because I still feel I have not accomplish some things in this game yet, how good you are at finding color palette codes in games, because I been trying to find the values that controlled the background colors and also changing the characters palette individually without messing up the game, but haven't had any luck, think you can give it a shot.

Well, I can try for it tommmorrow. I guess I'll add it to my list of things to do. I never got around to doing much MK1 hacking yet. In part cause I figure it's been hacked to death by others. I was suprised at the little amount of attention MK2,3, and UMK3 for genesis had.

Oya, link me up to that thread where they talked bout the codes n stuff.

Im sorry Hiro, here is the link: http://mortalkombatonline.com/conten...e.cds?id=40798 now for some strange reason I haven't found the address(s) the characters palettes in the 32X version of MK2, I would like thought that I would have found them first before I would have the background palettes, maybe I have found them but the game won't let me change them, or maybe they are alittle farther they I realize.

Mortal Kombat 2(Sega 32X) Game Genie Codes

I figured out why I can't changed the character colors in MK2 32X, its missing some key coding that the Genesis does have, here is what I talking about:

Here are the characters addresses highlighted in green for MK2 Genesis:

                              Now here the 32X version:

Now both games run the same, but uses different values, but when I trying to add the missing coding to the 32X game from the Genesis, it won't play, now I don't know if I'm would have to change more of code or not, if only I knew someone with better understanding of these things.

Here is a few more codes for MK2(32X) & the UMK3 codes I promise.
