I started playing this game again a week or two ago, and decided to hack it. In the process of doing so, I forgot some stuff about it, and started browsing the Internet for tips and tricks. During my search I found that a beta was released. There is some differences I noticed such as different level pics, text, and the button cheats (minor). Here is what I have so far:

Neat stuff. I've tried and failed in the past to figure out anything with the button codes of any use. Also interesting there's a beta floating around in certain corners of the internet. A lot of those fail to ever get really around.

Thanks! If I recall correctly, I tracked them down by only using a memory dump and a debugger. It may have just been a memory dump due to them using the same values as Jet Moto (another Single Trac developed game). I'll be looking into the password system and the other in-game button cheats soon. Yeah, I was pretty surprised to see one for this game released. It would be great if that Twisted Metal 3 beta with the UPS truck and BMW was released. I didn't find them in the demo I came across.
