EDIT: Solution in the 3rd post.
I recently got my hands on a Net Yaroze boot disc and Access card and it works just fine in my regular PS1; however I decided I'd give it a go to the GameShark codes I found that supposedly bypass the Access Card check.
These are the codes:
8006FF90 0000
8006FF92 0000
8006FF88 0000
8006FF8A 0000
Unfortunately I reached a dead end... I tried with a GameShark 2.42, GameShark Pro 3.0 and X-Plorer 4.52, but had the same issue with all of them: the codes I enter are 1 digit short.
Example:
My code:
8006FF90 0000
What I must enter:
####### ####
As you can see, I'm being asked for 1 more digit/character in the first string. I tried everything (adding a 0 at the beginning, adding a 0 at the end) to no avail.
In the X-plorer it seemed like I could "remove" digits/character in order to enter a shorter string, but when save it didn't work.
I remember using these codes with my GameShark 2.42 back in the days (ie. 10 years ago?) and it worked.
What am I missing?
I went through the manuals and looked online but found absolutely nothing...
Thanks in advance.
