  • GameHacking.org Weekly Hacking Target! - TMNT 3: The Manhattan Project

This week's hacking target will be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (U) - NES.

The rules are simple: Hack whatever you like, as long as it hasn't been hacked, and post in this thread with any codes/progress/questions/requests (yes, requests are welcome). To verify what's already been hacked, take a look at these pages:

    http://gamehacking.org/?s=v2&sys=5&gid=4801
    http://gamehacking.org/?s=v2&sys=5&gid=321
    http://gamehacking.org/?s=bsfree2&sys=2&gid=1297
    http://gamehacking.org/?s=bsfree2&sys=2&gid=6639

If you don't have the game, or don't want to hack it, wait until next week. If you like, you can suggest the next game to be hacked for the "GameHacking.org Weekly Hacking Target!" thread. Please remember to vote for the next game at the top of this thread.

    Happy hacking!

I like this code. I don't remember ever seeing a code like this for any other game.

          Ideas for possible hacks:

          Walk Through Walls
          Walk Faster (2x, 4x, etc...)
          Always be on Surfboard

Will add more when I think of them.

            Ideas for possible hacks:
            How about...
            • "Turtles's weapons are automatically/constantly swinging" - without having to press the attack (B) button.
            • "Pressing the B button will execute the special attack" - instead of having to press both the A and B button at the same time to execute the special attack.
            • "Turtle's normal walking movement is in a constant state of charging speed movement" - instead of having to tap left or Right on the directional pad (D-Pad) twice to charge at an enemy, you automatically are always charging at enemies. This code is alot different than a "Walk 2x/4x faster" code.
            • "Turtles can attack and inflict damage to their Turtle teamates"
            • "Turtles get to bang April O'Neil at the end of the game"

Might be possible, but when your turtle attacks he cannot move. You would have to also find the address locking his position while attacking and nullify it's effect. It could also have other random effects like not being able to perform other actions while the code is active. Of course the latter is mere speculation on my part.

Where has BeyondTheStatic been? He's normally active in the Hacking Target Threads.

BeyondTheStatic usually goes after environmental modification, projectile movement, etc type hacks which this game's content is lacking for the most part. He was last active on the forums yesterday, so I'm sure if he has interest he will make some codes for this game.

It looks like Contra is going to win. I wish a couple more codes were made for this current target, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: The Manhattan Project. It would be nice to see a couple of those requests filled that were posted in this thread.

There are only about 20 people that have read it. You can't expect everyone to be interested, though that would be fun.

I'm pretty sure I could do one or two of those requests, but I'm working hard on the site right now, not to mention school started last week and I'm getting behind already.
Please put all complaints in writing and submit them here.

Above link not working? Try here.

Ah how I miss those days. When I was going to school I couldn't wait to graduate and after I graduated I wish I could go back.
