Okay, so... I decided to grab Eternal Champions: Challenge From the Dark Side at a pawn shop when I saw it, cuz I remembered my cousin had the original Genesis version. Then, I found out verrrry quickly that I suck at fighting games. So, I decided to pop it in my PC. When I went to play it in Kega Fusion, though, I found out that PAR/GG cheating + Sega CD = no
...which sucks infinite Justin Biebers.
The "thesis" of this post? Are there any fully-functioning emulators on the PC for Sega CD that actually lets dudes like me with minimal hacking education use memory/code searching engines for stuff like Lunar, Eternal Champs CD, Popful Mail, etc? If there are, what are they? If there aren't... Why the Fuzzy-Pickling not?!
I know there never was a "cheating" PAR for the Sega CD (just that region-proof thing), but if we can make our own code system for MAME, why not do a favor for those of us who enjoy the Sega CD?
Anyway, thank you for your cooperation with this thoroughly humiliated nOob.
Good night.
