I have a regular Gameboy color Gameshark V. 3.3. When I plug in a game and power on the Gameboy, the screen goes black as soon as the Gameboy name disappears. I've heard that it can be fixed by plugging in a USB cable and using a program to reflash a rom and fix the cartridge. If anyone has any other information that may help, I would much appreciate it. Now, I have a gameboy color and a regular gameboy link cable, and I am interested in making a USB cable for my PC. Does anyone happen to know the PIN layout to plug my Gameboy into my computer? Does it require any kind of logic board?
