  • Xenosaga episode 3 also sprach zarathustra question

Simple question, hopefully. Found the codes but wondering which playstation 2 gameshark to get it doesnt seem to suggest one and theres like 5 of them, as I recall one of them didnt even have the option of manual input of new codes-u had to use its proprietary internet search to get them, probably only from gameshark.com.
codes im wondering about can be found here:
    http://www.thegshi.org/?s=bsfree2&sys=27&gid=17915
the max generator and item modifier-type codes are most important to me-if this matters in determining the GS device to purchase. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Skip gameshark, and grab a codebreaker that is version 7 or higher. Codebreaker is a lot better, and can use those codes once you use Omniconvert in the downloads section of this site to convert them from gameshark to codebreaker format codes.

I had not realized theres was s uch a huge price difference, look slike all ps2 stuff has gone up since its been taken off the market, im just kinda wondering if i can go buy the cheapest ps2 gameshark and expect any code to work (when input correctly of course) my research has shown me that some take them as xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx and some are
      xxxxxxxx
      xxxxxxxx

but other than trial and error, i dont see any way of determining what version these codes will work for which seems to point me to the idea that all versions should work, but...im looking for a confirmation.

Only codebreaker version 7 and higher supports all code types. Gameshark won't work with codes that start with "6" or "7", and I'm not sure about "5" or the "9" type enable codes. If you want those codes to work, you'll need to write a tiny subroutine of your own.
