Definitely nice work on the codes, mind explaining how you found the code for always rare encounters?

About the 'always rare encounters' code, I didn't do anything remotely fancy (or difficult) to make it. I already knew where the encounter table & code was in FF1, which I possess a commented code disassembly for (<-I think you can find it at romhacking.net). Anyway, the encounter tables in FF2&3 are exactly the same as in FF1, so it was easy to find and change.

In fact, I went ahead and made the same code for FF1&2, and that took about 10 minutes total (and also here are two more FF2 codes that I should have already made):

        -

        NES - Game Genie
        Final Fantasy 2 (J)

Always fight the rarest encounter in each area
        EXXGASKL
        YEXGPSEG
        XVXGZISK

Able to Save in towns and dungeons (You will appear back at the entrance if you get Game Over or Reset.)
        APVZNSZK

Airship moves at full speed by default (Normally you have to press B around 30-40 times to get the speed boost.)
        AEOIAGGE

        -

        NES - Game Genie
        Final Fantasy (U)

Always fight the rarest encounter in each area (Change the Y in the middle line of the code to T to fight the 2nd-rarest instead, to easily find WarMech.)
        EZVKASKL
        YAVKPSKA
        XTVKZISK

After playing around a bit with the "fewer random battles in dungeons" codes I recently made for FF2&3, I discovered that they can actually allow you to get into battles in places where you aren't supposed to, which makes their usefulness questionable... The one for FF1 shouldn't cause any problems, though.

                      NES - Game Genie
                      Final Fantasy 3 (J)

Can equip a stack of arrows of any quantity instead of only up to 20 (Outside of battle.)
                      NNNOKGIO

Equip a stack of 21 or more arrows and you will be holding 255 (Outside of battle.)
                      NYEPEIGO

Equip any weapon other than arrows and you will be holding 99 copies of it (Outside of battle. The extras can be sold for tons of money.)

The first WTWs code I made for Ultima:QotA prevents you from moving at all in dungeon interior rooms after defeating the enemies, a fact that I had overlooked. The new code here will work in those areas as well, but unfortunately takes two lines instead of one. So perhaps the previous code is still somewhat worthwhile...

I know this is an old thread, and so this may not be seen, but has anyone ever made experience modifier codes for Final Fantasy III? The only one I've found online is GZKUXTIZ, but although it does level you up after each battle, it changes your character's experience to a weird amount (like 9090IZ00). There are so many gold modifier codes out there, I was hoping to find an experience one (like triple exp, etc).

Grond's codes from last post #13 was not added to the dabatase, so now they're added.
