  • (NES) NES Open Tournament Golf Game Genie Code Request

I would like to request a Game Genie code for (NES) NES Open Tournament Golf. I would like to increase the distance on my shots with the "1 Wood" club. The "1 Wood" club hits the ball the farthest which is 286 yards. I would like a game genie code that will let me hit the ball further than that.

NES Open Tournament Golf is widely considered the best NES golfing game. But yet there are barely any codes for the game. I hope it is possible to make a code like that.

It doesn't matter what club you use, the distance value is the same one for all of them.

This code makes it so the ball reaches over 400 yards, but that will just give you an OB since the ball goes out of the map. So just disable the code 100 yards or so before the place where you want it to land.

If you want a Gamegenie code (I don't know why since you're using an emulator), you can use FCEUX's gamegenie encoder to make one out of this code:

Hit Ball Far away (Low Shot. Disable to make the ball land)
    00DD 01

Hit Ball Far away (High Shot. Disable to make the ball land)
    00DE 01

Is this the game genie code translation of that code?

If so, I tried it and it doesn't work

I use both, the real hardware NES console and Emulators.... so that's why I prefer Game Genie Codes

I don't know, I don't use gamegenie. Some codes don't work on real hardware for some reason.

00DD is not between 0x8000-0xFFFF so its conversion to Game Genie cannot be used on hardware.
Not taking any requests at this time.
