Not Working "Infinite Shells" Game Genie Code for (NES) Jaws

The game genie code for (NES) Jaws which is:

Infinite Shells = SZVEYNSE

Does not seem to be working for neither the real NES console nor the NES emulator Nestopia.

Would anyone else like to try out this code to verify that it does not work. I still have never beaten Jaws. I've come close and just recently learned what to do and how to kill Jaws at the end. The game is very tedious and repetitive. You have to hit Jaws a bajillion times to finally get the chance to spear him at the end of the game. I believe that if there was a working "infinite shells" code, then the game would be alot shorter and wouldn't take so long to finally get to kill Jaws.

I just tested the code you just posted "SZSELSTK" and it does not seem to give me infinite shells. I still start the game off with zero shells and when I collect a shell, I only get 1 shell. So it's not a code that will give me infinite shells upon pickup. I tried both codes individually and I tried both codes together. And neither seemed to work. I still start the game off with Zero shells and I only receive one shell upon pickup

You don't/can't spend shells. They are like hitting power. The more shells you have, the more damage you do when hitting enemies. How you lose shells, is when you die. When you die, you lose all your shells. But the 99 Shells on pick-up is basically just as good as infinite shells, so thank you.

No, shells are the currency with which you buy items at the ports. That's why you think the codes don't work. You do lose shells after dying, but only as a penalty. Do you want an invincibility code?

Ohhh I see. But still, when I use those infinite shell codes, it still says I have Zero shells. Unless I really do have infinite shells but it just doesn't display it.

Yes I would like to have an invincibility code. That would help a great deal!

yep, that keep shells after dying code works. It is the infinite shells code that wasn't giving me infinite shells.
