Another RPG driving me crazy with random battles. I tried to find a code using regular methods that I talked about before in other request threads. Can someone give it a shot and make a quick code to disable random battles? Thanks

Hey GForce, you probably know of this method already, but in Musashi no Bouken as well as Herakles 2 I was able to avoid encounters by making saves every few steps. If I ran into a battle I would go back to save and most of the time wouldn't encounter an enemy in the same spot I did before.
Of course, this is tedious and more annoying than using a good code to eliminate the battles, but figured I'd pass along the info in case you ran into the problem in another RPG.US NES games left to beat: 3

Thanks Adam, I do use that method but it is kinda tedious. After I used the Musashi code, I sped through the game much faster and less stress. How did you know I was playing Herecles II now? Did I just tell you that? I actually came onto the site to request a code to avoid random battles for that game too. Any takers?

I played through Taboo - The Sixth Sense and it told me you were playing Heracles II...weird.
Seriously though, we probably think a lot alike. I've only played about 3 Famicom games in the last couple of months: Musashi, Herakles II and Esper no Bouken. Perhaps we are going through the same list of translated Famicom RPGs
Great codes as usual nolberto82, you're a code stud!US NES games left to beat: 3

Nolberto, how do you make those so quickly? Thanks again, I got through the rest so fast thanks to the codes. I keep trying to make them but not working for me.
Adam youre right, I am going through my translated games and I only have a few left. Niji no Silkroad may be next but thats pretty long. Or maybe Mother because I found a great site full of maps and details. Also, StrategyWiki has a few detailed walkthroughs I've been going through as well. I dont have many more fun action or platform games to go through anymore. Strike Wolf was pretty fun after someone posted codes to get past level 1 freeze ending. Did you get to check that out Adam?

Yes, got to play through Strike Wolf thanks to that code. That's off the list. Have you played Esper no Bouken? The FAQ says at the end that the final boss could be behind one of several doors and I got lucky enough to pick the right one first try. I'm curious to see if you found him in the same room I did (the one that's on a platform in the long open corridor).US NES games left to beat: 3

I tried to play Esper Boukentai (the same?) using Nico Nico video but it was so weird and I must have made a wrong turn somewhere because I got stuck. That walkthrough looks really good and I'll check it out soon and try to let you know. The Completion Crew is still cranking out walkthroughs and I'm still trying to catch up. Still have some long RPGs to get through then barcode reader games which I have no idea. On top of that, Ive had the Crazy Climber Nico video on my computer for months to help me once I figure out how to use the controls better. I still have another years or so till I slow down
