For some reason I can't find any codes for (Genesis) Super Bubble Bobble MD. I know they should already exist somewhere but I just can't seem to locate them. Any type of codes that can be used by an emulator will be fine (game genie, PAR, etc. whatever). I'm just looking for either "Infinite Lives" or "Infinite Energy". I would like to beat this game.

After doing some more research on it, it says it's not a real game. Somebody made it. It looks very real. If you watch the videos on youtube. I guess with games that somebody made, there aren't any codes for most of them. I dont know.Last edited by OldSchoolGamer; 04-28-2011, 12:22:22 AM.Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Ah, it's a bootleg/pirate game. I don't waste my time with those. There are enough real games that deserve my attention more than those chinese hacks.
Just stick with games that have region codes such as Japan, USA or Europe. Don't bother with any Chinese stuff because they're all bootlegs/hacks/pirate games.

Ohh so is that why Super Mario Bros. 2 is alot different than Super Mario Bros. 1 & 3? Because SMB 2 was made in USA and SMB 1&3 was made in Japan? I think I heard something like that back in the dayNow broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. they were all made in japan first
but super mario bros 2(the one we know) started out as a famicom disc system game called Doki Doki Panic with changed characters and other things to make the game easier then after the success of the game in the US it was then made into Super Mario 2 USA for japan.
thats why its alot different we didn't even get a mario game
the US didn't see the real super mario 2 untill lost levels came out for snes

look on this page for a brief write up on it

You honestly didn't know that?
Boy, I feel sorry for you man. Your life, as you know it, was over the second you touched an emulator. You'll discover so many stuff you didn't know that you'll probably go crazy. Just google my name and you'll see how deep I am (or was).
And yes, Nintendo in Japan made a Super Mario Bros 2 (http://www.gamefaqs.com/famicomds/91...2-japan/images) for the Famicom Disk System (an add-on that used disks for the Japanese NES) that was basically a hacked and much harder Super Mario Bros. 1. You might know it as Super Mario: Lost Levels that came with Super Mario All Stars for the SNES.
So, Nintendo thought the game was too hard for Americans, they took a Famicom Disk System game called Doki Doki Panic (http://www.gamefaqs.com/famicomds/57...i-panic/images), improved the game and changed all the characters to Mario characters and released it as Super Mario Bros 2 in the USA. So yeah, that's why the game is so different.
After you learn the basics, let me know and I'll direct you to other sites with tons of info that will blow your mind.Last edited by ReyVGM; 04-28-2011, 12:40:21 AM.

Interesting... and that's messed up that the Japs thought it was too hard for us. But I guess it worked out because we wind up getting an extra SMB out of it. Maybe if they thought that it wasn't too hard, then they never would have released the SMB2 (USA) to the USA. Maybe that would have stayed in Japan if they would have released the lost levels right away after SMB1. SMB2 (usa) would maybe only be known today as a Japanese game Doki Doki Panic and probably wouldn't be nearly as popular. So it seemed like it worked out for the best.Last edited by OldSchoolGamer; 04-28-2011, 12:55:09 AM.Now broadcasting from the underground command post. Deep in the bowels of a hidden bunker. Yep. A lot of the enemies from Doki Doki Panic / Super Mario 2 were used in future Mario games such as the awesome Shy Guys and Bomb Ombs. It also set the basic differences between Mario and Luigi. And gave us a flying Peach.
Also, psst... they are not called "Japs" anymore. It's considered a derogatory term, like cracker or nig...Last edited by ReyVGM; 04-28-2011, 01:00:13 AM.
