Nice codes...I didn't think so many good codes were still unhacked for this game.

Incidentally, I migrated all PAR and GG Faxanadu codes from BSFree to the GH.org DB, so we only have to check two pages now instead of four.

Also, keep in mind that, if codes have been hacked for PAR but not GG, it never hurts to rehack them for GG, so players using a real console can use them.
    I may be lazy, but I can...zzzZZZzzzZZZzzzZZZ...

As it turns out, you can buy any item from any slot, but to keep things simple, I used the Small Dagger slot for weapons, the Red Potion slot for items, and the Deluge slot for magic. You can achieve some bizarre results by tricking the game into thinking that a magic spell is a weapon, or that an item is a magic spell etc.
          -------------------

          Shop modifying codes...

NOTE: These codes can easily be modified to let you buy any item you want in the tool shop in Eolis (the town where you start the game). Some of these items are normally not for sale in shops.

Codes that modify the first item in the tool shop (normally the Small Dagger):

          PANXPGAA
Lets you buy the Long Sword instead of the Small Dagger in the Eolis tool shop.
          The cost is $400.

          ZANXPGAA
Lets you buy the Giant Blade instead of the Small Dagger in the Eolis tool shop.
          The cost is $400.

Codes that modify the second item in the tool shop (normally the Red Potion):

          OPNXGGEP
Lets you buy the Black Potion instead of the Red Potion in the Eolis tool shop.
          The cost is $160.

          NANXGGEO
Lets you buy the Wing Boots instead of the Red Potion in the Eolis tool shop.
          The cost is $160.

          SANXGGEO
Lets you buy the Hourglass instead of the Red Potion in the Eolis tool shop.
          The cost is $160.

          XANXGGEO
Lets you buy the Magical Rod instead of the Red Potion in the Eolis tool shop.
          The cost is $160.

          UPNXGGEP
Lets you buy the Pendant instead of the Red Potion in the Eolis tool shop.
          The cost is $160.

          KPNXGGEP
Lets you buy the Black Onyx instead of the Red Potion in the Eolis tool shop.
          The cost is $160.

Codes that modify the fourth item in the tool shop (normally the Deluge Magic):

          PVEZZGAT
Lets you buy Thunder magic instead of Deluge magic in the Eolis tool shop. The
          cost is $400.

          ZVEZZGAT
Lets you buy Fire magic instead of Deluge magic in the Eolis tool shop. The
          cost is $400.

          LVEZZGAT
Lets you buy Death magic instead of Deluge magic in the Eolis tool shop. The
          cost is $400.

          GVEZZGAT
Lets you buy Tilt magic instead of Deluge magic in the Eolis tool shop. The
          cost is $400.

                Thank you helder.

I think it's safe to say that all of us hacked the shit out of this game. Faxanadu will never be the same.

                    Code:
Hit Anywhere(Need to have a weapon)
                    SZUANEGK

Enemies Die Automatically(Need to have a weapon)
                    GZEEUAAP
                    GZOAXAEL
                    SZUANEGK
Hit anywhere is just like enemies die when they get close but with your weapon.

                    Codes added.

I figure we should let it sit until Sunday, just for consistency, and in case anyone wants to jump in late.

However, we should start making suggestions for the next game in the main thread.

Thought I'd throw in some more codes before the deadline.

These codes modify how far weapons can reach, both horizontally and vertically.

                          NSOLNEAE
Hand Dagger's reach is greatly increased. You can kill enemies from the opposite end of the screen (as long as they're not above or below you).

                          NSOLNEAE +
                          NSOUEAGE
Hand Dagger can reach anywhere on the screen. You can kill enemies no matter where they are on the screen (even if they're above or below you). Also lets you kill the little spiked things.

                          NSOUOAAO
Long Sword's reach is greatly increased. You can kill enemies from the opposite end of the screen (as long as they're not above or below you).

                          NSOUOAAO +
                          NSOUXEAE
Long Sword can reach anywhere on the screen. You can kill enemies no matter where they are on the screen (even if they're above or below you).

                          NSOUUAAO
Giant Blade's reach is greatly increased. You can kill enemies from the opposite end of the screen (as long as they're not above or below you).

                          NSOUUAAO +
                          NSOUKEAE
Giant Blade can reach anywhere on the screen. You can kill enemies no matter where they are on the screen (even if they're above or below you).

                          ==================

Also wanted to say what a good idea this "Weekly Hacking" thing was. It's a lot of fun hacking any codes you can think of for a game.

                          EDIT: Codes added to DB.
