  • Pigskin Footbrawl (Genesis) Game Genie Codes

Any game genie codes for (Genesis) Jerry Glanville's Pigskin Footbrawl?

It would be cool if there was a game genie code where you can start the game with a Troll or play with all Trolls or something like that. I like when they scream, it sounds like they are being tortured

Since there aren't any GG codes at all I decided to make some, although the ones you request will need some info from you on how do these Trolls show up or when. I played the regular and pro modes always the same opponents.

    Code:
All Touchdowns Go To Player 1's Score
    XW0A-7SNE

All Touchdowns Worth 14 instead of 7 (Affects both teams unless used with the All Touchdowns Go To Player 1's Score)
    B40A-6AEJ

All Touchdowns Worth 28 instead of 7 (Affects both teams unless used with the All Touchdowns Go To Player 1's Score)
    DW0A-6AEJ

All Touchdowns Worth 56 instead of 7 (Affects both teams unless used with the All Touchdowns Go To Player 1's Score)
    HC0A-6AEJ

All Touchdowns Worth 100 instead of 7 (Affects both teams unless used with the All Touchdowns Go To Player 1's Score)
    NW0A-6AEJ

Get Possession Points Almost Instantly (Affects Both Teams)
    ACWT-864R

All Possession Points Go To Player 1's Score
    XW0A-7SMJ

Thanx Helder. What happens later in the game if a team is losing by a few touchdowns, they "Send in the Trolls!" to the losing team to help the losing team try to make a comeback. The Troll is tougher and stronger than a normal teammate. They are harder to beat up and can beat up the opposing team easier. If a team is really losing by alot of points, then they send in TWO Trolls. I'm not sure if they can send in more than two trolls but they might beable to. The trolls only get sent in during the second half of the game I believe. I'm so suprised you never played this game. It's an arcade classic. It's a great game to play against another human. I hope there are game genie codes that can make you or the CPU start the game with a troll, or two, or the whole team. It would be cool to have all troll teamates or play against all trolls.

I got trolls to come in just by doing nothing and letting the game go for a while. The annoying thing is that it takes a while to get a troll, and they only came in the second half. I thought I had found the number of trolls address at FF9746, but I'm not sure that's correct.

The trolls only come in near the end of the second half of the game. And they only come if a team is losing by a few scores. If the losing team is losing by alot of scores, than multiple trolls come in for the losing team. But all this happens near the end of the game. That's why i hope somebody can make a game genie code where you can start the game with trolls on your team or start the game playing against trolls

I haven't even seen a troll yet (don't have the patience to wait that long), so I made a GG code to make it easier to get to the trolls...

                Jerry Glanville's Pigskin Footbrawl

                D43T-6AA8
30 second period length. You must leave it at the default 3:30 period time for the code to work.

1 minute period length. You must leave it at the default 3:30 period time for the code to work.

rimsky82, you had the right RAM address for one of the trolls. I'm guessing they use a different address for each additional troll, but haven't had time to investigate.

                  OldSchoolGamer, these work on Gens...

                  FF9746:01
Start a new game with one troll on your side (Blue team).

                  FFB790:03
Start a new game with one troll on your opponent's side (red team).

                  --------------

I forced a score of 14 to 231, and still only got one troll. I'll have to see if I can figure out how get the game to send out more trolls. Does the game send out all the trolls out at once, or one at a time?

Trolls only get sent out during the second half when they are playing in the dungeon. The first half is played outside grass and the second half is played inside a dungeon type place. The trolls only get sent out towards the end of the second half in the dungeon. And they only get sent out to the losing team if the losing team is losing by a couple scores. So later in the second half, if the losing team is losing by a couple scores, they will send out a troll to help the losing team. I'm not 100% sure but I think if the losing team starts to lose by even more, then they will send out two (2) trolls to help the losing team. I'm not sure if I have ever seen more than two trolls. So I believe the game sends out one troll at a time. I also believe it is possible to have a troll on each team. I believe I remember seeing that when I was playing against a friend one time. But to answer your question, I believe the game sends out one (1) troll out at a time. I will play the game a bunch of times to see if they definetely send out more than one (1) troll on a team. Thank you for the codes. I will get back to you to let you know 100% if they send out more than 1 troll on the same team.

How does this code get entered into "Gens". I went to file > game genie > And typed in this code: "FF9746:01" (Start a new game with one troll on your side- Blue team) I then highlighed the code and clicked OK. But it doesn't seem to work because I did not start the game with a troll on my team. Does anyone know what I did wrong?

The code has to be entered before you start the game. Try high-lighting the code, then click on CPU/Hard Reset, then start the game without making any changes to any of the game settings. I just tried it again and it works fine. I'm using Gens V 2.10, but I would think most newer versions should work.

OK, found the problem. It looks like the version of Gens you're using doesn't handle PAR codes quite the same as my version. Try this code: FF9746:0100

I am using Gens 2.14. This code works "FFB790:03" - Start a new game with one troll on your opponent's side (red team).

But this code does not "FF9746:01" - Start a new game with one troll on your side (Blue team).
