He hasn't responded to my PM or taken any action about it. I'm led to believe he's out of the project.

I'd appreciate it if you could release the thing for me still. I did my part and I'm going to work on it by myself unless he decides to show up. I won't include him in it unless he does his share of thanks/likes.

I look forward for your ogre battle and tactics ogre trainers.

Especially Tactics ogre GBA version, Ogre Battle PSX and Tactics Ogre PSX and Ogre Battle Gaiden (Neo Geo Pocket Version).

Downloaded it. A 5 seconds look already made things a -lot- clearer for me. I'll try to resume my work later tonight, hope things should work out this time.

You can remove the source files now, thanks!

PS. I'll do my best to make a SNES trainer and hopefully a PSX trainer, but I'm not into the GBA/Gaiden games, so no guarantees there.

What about Sega saturn version of Ogre Battle & Tactics Ogre Trainers?

I thought I saw Due Goose in the Tactics Ogre Forum a while ago.
              Then he disappear again.

There doesn't seem to be a big interest in the Saturn versions (at least over TOF), plus with the lack of previous emulation/testing, it's nothing I could guarantee either.

And yes, Dude logged on a few times already, and my message shows as "read" by him, he's just... not involving himself I guess (we had a falling out a while ago).

By the way, do come back often, so that I will know what type of game you are making a trainer on to avoid duplicate trainer issues..

I'll be sure to let you know if I take up any TO/OB project, but for now I'll try to make the SNES project work, that's the first/top priority at the moment. So don't worry about duplicates.

I hope Due Goose will come back and help you out with the trainer.

This trainer definitely involve using calculator and hexdecimal knowledge skills.

I bring you the new TOCV trainer! Changes for v1.2 include:

                        - 99.9% of the items are properly translated. The "E8" item, a thrusting sword, is the sole item remaining.

                        - The "element" box is less mysterious since it takes three sets of elements in account (01, 02, 03, 04 - 09, 0A, 0B, 0C - 11, 12, 13, 14). Denim seems to have his own set of elements, which is something to be researched later.

**I recommend people to use the same element set when changing a unit's element (ie. your healbot is Fire 2 and you want him to become water element: set it to Water 2). I'm not sure if changing the element set does anything, but it's better to be safe than sorry.**

                        - Added a code which allows you to change the first item for any shop menu; this way you can buy whatever you want and equip/unequip at will, since simply changing a character item won't add it to your inventory.

                        - The skill/spell list is yet to be translated; I can't do japanese translating beyond very basic katakana (you probably noticed that if you used the first trainer, dem item lists) so I'm waiting for a translator to pop up and do something about it.

The TOCVT is designed for use with the snes9x emulator, v1.53. Any bugs/oddities besides the ones presented above should be reported via PM (which will give me an e-mail warning). TOCVT can be used for the vanilla SNES Tactics Ogre, just make sure you don't select CV-specific items/classes/etc.

                        That said, happy cheating

Edit: Uploaded another version with minor aesthetic changes.

Definitely a good trainer. What about translating bnes2 tool & TOCV2_Tool?

There is a translation patch for BNE2 which I acquired from the TOCV creator (KT), but I don't know who released and what is their policy on it. I will e-mail KT and see what his reply is. There's no translation for TOCV2_Tool however, and KT mentioned it wasn't a feasible thing to do, so... *shrugs*

Translating any of those patches well beyond my ability, I can only do very basic katakana, plus the implications of translating a whole software :P

I know that BNE2 tool was translated using Resource Hacker but it won't edit content in the TOCV2_Tool.

Ah. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do towards the TOCV2_Tool content, so we're in a dead end until a generous person with some heavy-duty japanese/translation skills can do that for us.
