Paperboy 2 needs a master code!!!

It looks like Paperboy 2 doesn't need a master code. If the game isn't playing, try cleaning the connections on the game, and on the Game Genie.

I tested it with an emulator, and it doesn't need a master code. Do you still get a red screen even if you don't enter any Game Genie codes?

That tells you that it is not a master code that's causing the problem. If you get a red screen when using Game Genie codes, but the game plays fine without GG codes, then you probably need a master code. If you get a red screen with or without GG codes, then it has nothing to do with a master code. Try it without the Game Genie hooked up (just the cartridge by itself). If you still get a red screen, then your cart is probably bad (or dirty).

I've discovered a similar problem with my PAR. I found out that the PAR's card juts out a little further which causes it to be loose in the slot. I took a some paper, folded it, & pushed in behind the PAR in the slot. This causes it to be tighter & not to be as loose. Before you chalk it up to having a bad GG, I would try that. I'd also make sure that it still works with the other games.
