I'm sorry. I forgot to mention that. It will only work for the 1st of the 2 opponents. I'll edit my post to include that.

NOTE: This will start when you or your opponent jumps &/or when you or your opponent gets knocked down. In order to stop falling through the screen, just jump once. As you're falling, you can still attack & hit your opponent, but can't seem to perform any special moves.

When I was playing with the "always fight codes" I was hoping to find one where you always fight Reptile, but when I moved the digits beyond the Shang Tsung one, it froze on me.

I found some strange codes for Mortal Kombat (Genesis) on Youtube. I'll post the videos. Please note: I am not taking credit for these, I'm just sharing them. I've tested them & they work.

NOTE: You'll notice that the characters all have a Greenish tint to them. Choose Sub-Zero or Scorpion to play as Reptile. Whenever you win, it will say "Reptile Wins". You won't have both the Spear & Ice Ball but its cool none-the-less. Also this only works for Player 1.

it don't work on my Gens GS emulator and AJRT-DTAC is said to be a error code. but, i won't try it on Kega Fusion

I tested this code yet again on my Game Genie & it does work. I used the 1st 5 codes. I didn't use AYJT-DA9W.

I got to playing with the "Play as Reptile" code & found some weird codes. I tired parts of the codes by themselves & nothing happened. For some reason, all three codes need to be used together:

Player 1 fights on upper half of the screen
9W6B-9CBG
AC6B-8ABJ

Players "Enter the Tournament"

NOTE: When you press start to choose you character, just before the match starts, player 2 will join the tournament. After that match, if player 2 doesn't decide to continue & you press start during the battle plan, just before the match starts, it will say "Player 1 has enetered the tournament". Apparently, its acts as if player 1 & 2 aren't playing a match. Player 1's score still adds up, but its placed over the part that says "Press Start".

Losing character doesn't stand up for fatality

NOTE: When it says "Finish Him / Her" the winning character will automatically do their winning pose. The defeated character will just continue to lay on the ground, but it will take a few seconds for the computer to acknowledge the winner.

Opponents don't turn blue when frozen by Sub-Zero's Ice Ball

NOTE: Character select screen will look very glitchy. The cursor will appear on the right side, but you can see a shadow version of Kano. In order to select Sub-Zero, move the cursor to the right once. Once you select your player, they will appear like normal. Whenever Sub-Zero freezes an enemy, they will look like normal & won't have a blueish tint.
