  • Greatest Heavyweights - Genesis

I had some Game Genie ideas that could be done for this game:

    1. Player 2 is completely invisible (makes for a tougher fight)
    2. Player 2 gets 0 points for each round (when fights go the all rounds)
    3. Fights can go up to 15 rounds or longer
    4. Player 2 starts with no energy
    5. Set created boxer's power, speed, & stamina beyond the normal limits
    6. Boxers can move through the ropes (no boundries)
    7. Can create a boxer with no head
    8. Can create a boxer with no body
    9. Can create a boxer with no trunks
Hacking games is always fun because you don't know what's hidden in the game.

I also found a few insignificant Game Genie codes for this game too:

    1. BBAA-BALT
Player 2's face is missing (while boxing)

    2. BADT-AAMT
Automatically skips the "ready to Rumble" introduction

    3. TBAT-AAER
Leaves off the last letter of the name of both boxers (don't know if this can be used to rename boxers or not)

    4. OAHT-TBRA
Anytime a boxer with a small build (Rocky Marciano, Joe Frazier, etc.) taunts, the ropes look glitchy (I've tried playing with this code to see if I could find a way to make the ropes invisible. I've only succeeded in getting the game to freeze.)
Hacking games is always fun because you don't know what's hidden in the game.

I thought of a couple more ideas:
          1. Would it be possible for to modify how the ring announcer introduces you? Normally, he'll refer to players as Player 1 or Player 2. However,
could it be made to where he'll introduce you as "heavyweight champion of the world" ,as "the challenger", or even as one of the main boxers in the game (Holyfield, Ali, Dempsey, Etc.)?
          2. Modify the referee's skin & hair color. I noticed that he usually has the same skin tone & hair color as one of the two boxers.
          3. Modify the color of the trunks, hair, & skin tones of the main boxers.
          4. Modify the face type on a created boxer. Make it to where you can use one of the main boxer's faces (like put Jack Dempsey's face on your boxer).
          5. Modify the voice of your boxer or even the main boxers (For example: have your boxer to sound like Ali, Frazier, or Holmes).
          6. When your boxer gets knocked down, make it so you have to press 1 button to get up.
          7. Make it to where a small-build boxer has the arms of the large-build boxer (longer reach).
          8. Make it to where a large-build boxer has the arms of the small-build boxer (shorter reach).
          9. Always have 7 wins & 7 knockouts on Tournament Mode (so you can see your boxer's Bio).

ADMIN NOTE: These 3 codes probably shouldn't be added to the data base. They appear to only last for the first round, so not really that useful.

              AD7A-B0D6 +
              AD7A-B0C4 +
              RH7A-A6YA
Can set power, speed, & stamina attributes to twice their normal maximum limit. The red bars won't show the extra amount, but just hold "Right" on controller for about 15 to 20 seconds on each of the 3 attributes. Appears to only work on the first round.

I made a code that let you set your attributes as high as you wanted, but they go too far and the fighter ends up being really weak. With the code above, I was easily able to knock out my opponent.

BigBossman, if you try these codes, let me know how they work for you (I only tested them for a couple rounds). I'd like to know if the extra amount lasts for the whole game.

I'll give it shot & get back with you. I was mostly wanting to use that for Tournament Mode with Evander Holyfield. For some reason, I can never win 1st place using him. I always run into problems when I face Larry Holmes & Muhammed Ali. I've seen the bio on the other boxers except him. Right now, I've got some electrical problems with my bedroom (where my Genesis is located) & I'm not wanting to disconnect my Xbox 360 in my living room. Hopefully, I can get that taken care of soon so I can start playing my Genesis again & try to find some other weird codes.

I tried out the code & it does work for the first fight in a career. During the 1st fight, you can moves very fast & 1 punch will drastically drain your opponent's energy. I used one of the large build boxers & was able to move back & forth real fast. When you get to the training part, it will max out the attributes like normal. When you go to the next fight, you'll just move around normal & throw normal punches.

I was thinking that maybe there could be a way to skip, the training screen. Instead of going to the training screen after a fight, it would go to the rankings again where you select your opponent.

I had some other ideas too:

                    1. Skip training (we know that one)
                    2. Start as the #1 ranked boxer
                    3. Every match is always a challenge match (where a boxer challenges you in career mode; you don't get to select your next opponent)

Try using this official code and see if it helps (use it with the other 3 codes)...

Attributes aren't reduced after a fight RH9A-A6TE (Galoob)

Let me know what happens. If it still only lasts one round, I'll see if I can fix it.
