  • (Request) The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap for Game Boy Advance (Action Replay v3)

Hello, I have another conversion request, if it's not too much trouble. Here is a Gameshark SP code for Legend of Zelda: The Minish cap for GBA. Can someone convert it to Action Replay v3??? Here is the code encrypted and unencrypted:

Win Cucco Game [Press Select+Up] (encrypted)
    B805B617 1F4A
    20F386C2 5DF1
    A6A049CD 3727

Win Cucco Game [Press Select+Up] (unencrypted)
    74000130 03BB
    420365DC 01C0
    00000003 0024

As always, any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for trying nolberto82, but sadly the code does not work. You know, for some odd reason button activator codes don't work on an emulator, because there are codes like this one and they don't work either. Well, since you can turn individual codes off manually on an emulator, is there a way to completely freeze the Cucco game timer??? Anyone???

The code works. What emulator are you using?

I'm using gpsp for the PSP. Maybe it is the emulator. I'll try copying the save file and pasting to my computer, then I'll use VBA to finish the Cucco game until I get the Piece of Heart, then copy and paste the save file back to gpsp. Thanks nolberto82!

Okay, the code works on VBA, however I can't unfreeze the timer once I push Select+Up! I've tried the same button combo, and I even tried turning off the codes and even deleting the codes but the timer is STILL frozen! Is there a way to unfreeze the timer???

The unconverted code that you posted wins you the mini game immediately. Why do you want to unfreeze the timer? I have used gpsp emulator. ARV3 codes should work for it.

Okay, I am not sure what is going on here. nolberto82, I don't know how you managed to get your code to work on gPSP, but it doesn't work on it and on VBA instead of winning the mini-game immediately like it should, it freezes the timer causing the game to go on forever. I tried wrangling all the cuccos and the mini-game was still going on, pushing the buttons again did not unfreeze it and neither did turning off or even deleting the codes. Nothing happened for the mini-game to end and declare me a winner. I don't know. Thanks though for your help on this, I appreciate your effort!

No I haven't checked with gPSP. But with VBA it wins the mini game. You have to tell me the version of VBA that you are using. Certain codes don't work correctly on VBA 1.7.2 and VBA 1.8.0.

Ahhhhhh...wait a moment! I think I know what's wrong! It might not be the emulator but the ROM! I'll get back to you on this!

Ok, I found the problem. I had a PAL version of the ROM and didn't know it, that's why the code didn't work. I tried it now and it works! Thanks for everything!
