gameshark manuals

does anyone have instructions for gameshark ver 4.0 or 4.11?
mine says gameshark hardware not found. what does that mean? can anyone help me?

It means it can't find it, possibly the contacts are dirty and it can't read it properly in the memory card slot, I know on my ps1 I have to wiggle it around a bit for it to pickup.

Hold it down at the intial logo screen,
The L1+L2+R1+R2+Start combo is a shortcut to the enhancement cd option it reflashes your dongle or cart with codes from the cd.

Hold buttons at main menu.
L1+L2+R1+R2 - Secret message from Gavin Thornton.
Select + O - Wipe whole codelist from card and start a fresh, X to confirm.
Select + Square - Re-establish comms serial / parrallel connection to pc.

Dunno what screen u press these at
Select+L2+R2 = Background
SELECT+L1+R1 = All codes on/off

You may still have problems getting those above versions to run a real ps2 though similair to emulation where it checks the cd an then stalls at the loading screen GameShark Lite, GameShark Sampler and 3.4 suffered from the same problem.

GS 4.0? U mean the device that plugged behind the PSX or the Disc u mean? Kinda interested to know what happen here.. =P

Yeah that web archive goes offline and online sporadically try again at different times of the day and it'll be online

I've attached the ones I managed to DL.
