Ok, before I am, shall we say, abruptly shown the door, I AM aware of the codes on cmgs...er, I meant codetwink.com(I'll never get used to that name LOL)
Seriously though, I have tried most of the codes for X-COm from that site with several different cheat devices - AR, Gameshark, GSPro 3.2 GS Lite - and the only one that has no side effects is the infinite money code. The soldier codes do work, yet once you move one of the soldiers, they disappear, at least visually(they are still on the ma and can be used but you cant see them).
I'm looking specifically for a code to make my soldiers invincible. I know this is a long shot request, givin how the soldier's stats vary from soldier to soldier. However, my little experience with code hacking tells me that the variable(s) that need to be altered should be quite similiar to one another.
I'd try to figureit out myself, but my old PSX/PSOne has finally givin up the ghost and I no longer have the means to hack codes myself. If someone could attempt to hack this code or code set, or at least point me in the direction of a website with custom made codes for X-COM(OTHER than codetwink.com) I'd be very grateful. Thank you in advance for the effort guys.
